Indeed She is one of the best teacher. But not all NPTEL teachers are good at teaching, they might be great in the respective fields but they lack the quality of teaching. I have come across many teachers on the platform who aren't good teachers.

If wattage rating is higher lower is resistance and and if resistance is higher and wattage rating lower its simple consideration You can cross check by ohms law

load means simply any energy storing device( it can be a resistor, inductor or a capacitor) apart from the original system from which voltage or current can be measured.
