Excellent point, many urologists now prefer the term hyperplasia to hypertrophy. Next time I'll just say "BPH" to avoid controversy :)

great talk as usual. one point is huge bladder diverticula cause double micturition if I am correct. ie once main bladder is emptied, urine from diverticula drains into bladder and patient will have urge again. correct me if I am wrong

Thank you Ravindra! You are correct, that is indeed a potential symptom of larger urinary bladder diverticula. Similar to how female urethral diverticula can cause post-void dribbling due to delayed emptying. Urinary stasis can occur in large diverticula which increases risk of urinary tract infection.
