The terminology can be a little disguising at times, but what I do understand about it all is that you need to make sure you pay attention and relax, after doing it repetavly it will be a piece of cake. God brought you to it, he will get you through it.

How can I import new items from an excel file. I have over 7000 items on my excel file and switching to a passport pos, the technician told me I have to enter them manually one by one which is a very inconvenient method. I am hoping to find a way to import those items.

What I do is have the cashier open the till and give them what they won. Then the cashier would keep that winning ticket and treat it as cash on the shift close report

Punch amount, hit Lottery Payout key right besides the Lottery key. Then start selling other item it will automatecally deduct at the end.

This has to be one of the worst pos systems ever; the 'card decline' notification prints out a normal looking receipt that can easily fool you into thinking the transaction went through.

What I hate is that it beeped the same as if its accepted or declined instead of a "err" buzzer sound which could be helpful. Then I let some guy walk away with $12 of beer. He paid me back at some point.

One of the worst OS made for a POS, not mention the Slow CPUs that came with that. I have used this for the last 8 years and i have nothing good to say about this OS or the Hardware they gave us. Just for perspective this hardware is 300% slower then a average house PC.

Archer Gondal I completely agree! We use this system at our gas station and the system is not reliable and we are constantly having to reboot the systems because of system performance issues!
