Health & Medicine on Khan Academy: No organ quite symbolizes love like the heart. One reason may be that your heart helps you live, by moving ~5 liters (1.3 gallons) of blood through almost 100,000 kilometers (62,000 miles) of blood vessels every single minute! It has to do this all day, everyday, without ever taking a vacation! Now that is true love. Learn about how the heart works, how blood flows through the heart, where the blood goes after it leaves the heart, and what your heart is doing when it makes the sound “Lub Dub.”
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy is a nonprofit with a mission to provide a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We believe learners of all ages should have unlimited access to free educational content they can master at their own pace. My supervisor does this at his other job. He's a lab technician with a 4-yr degree in Emergency Medical Philosophy. That's what they call it in the city I work in: Emergency Medical Philosophy, even though we do interns and hands-on training. Philosophy is theory if you ask me.

Thank you I think we can shall may vphv understand the importance and meaning of laboratory values and change few limits like haemoglobin at least on times of pandemic and encourage people to follow more strict and natural diet to increase our reserves to fight the Strong and deadly infections, I think we can shall may vphv prevent these by adopting a more natural model or Nature Cure who provide values that involve more immunity for long term rather than short term benefits.........................

i nee ur help sir, MY BIOCHEMISTARY REPORT ALT IS 54 THIS NORMAL .?
@rocker816
@rocker816 8 жыл бұрын
+Renjith Nair ALT is a mainly liver enzyme, 7-56 is generally normal. However lower is more normal, depends on alcohol use (raises the ALT&AST), and other drug use. Doesn't matter anyways, because lab values mean little to nothing if there are no other symptoms or health issues.

That's a little low. Make sure you go out in the sun regularly, eat fruits and cooked vegetables, exercise, sleep 7-9 hours a night, and drink 8-12 glasses of water a day. Hopefully it will help raise your WBC level.

thanks, what I'm looking for is something that would tell me how the average American performs on their blood tests. Based on the blood test results of my last physical exam, my doctor told me I am in the top 3% of people health-wise for my age. I'm looking for something that would formalize that, where someone would look at the blood test results of all Americans and analyze where each person's results places them health-wise. Any idea whether that exists and how I'd find it?
