Lipoproteins do not make the chylomicrons for example soluble in water because it is only 2% as you mentioned in the drawing; What makes Chylomicrons soluble in blood is the polar heads of 1. TAG's Glycerol 2.Phosphate head of phospholipids 3. OH group of Cholesterol

When we get a fasting blood test which tests total triglycerides....are we testing the triglycerides which are president in all of those five lipoproteins?
