This episode had me crying. But it's so sweet to see Inuyasha cry because it shows that he was really worried about his friends dying, especially Kagome. But I know that under all of his toughness, his soft side will open up eventually.

I remember when I first saw this episode, I actually teared up for Shippo and Inuyasha and I actually thought for a brief second they perished. A tearful and emotional Inuyasha is definitely worth watching. It cemented my adoration for this series because while Inuyasha is loud and brash on the outside, he still cares for his friend on this inside.

I love Inuyasha, one of my favorite classic animes. He is also a good father at that.

What Inuyasha meant was a man does not show weakness. He must project strength so others feel safe.

Well, at that point it wasn't because he was sad. He was so happy that everyone was alive. Sometimes happiness overflows the heart and flows out of the eyes. He needed to go through this so he could properly grieve for Kikyo. If I had to guess, he was young when he lost his mother, so he would have had to fend for himself. If he was on his own, there would have been no one to comfort him if he did cry. And also if he was crying the scent of salt would have given his position away if he was hiding from demons. He had to learn the hard way not to cry, to stay alive. After so many years of being alone and no one to hold him as a child when he was afraid or hurt. He'd eventually think there was no point to crying, no one would care anyway. Glad he has Kagome and their friends now.

For those who want context : Sango , Miroku and Kagome had breath a strong poison while fighting. They passed out and Shippo brought them in a temple to put them in a safe place to recover while Inuyahasha was fighting But during another fight the temple got burnt and Kagome ,Miroku and Sango "died" there

This is such a great episode. You feel the stakes in this episode. You can feel their desperation and worry in this arc. Top 3 best episodes -such emotion 😭

It’s ok Inuyasha! Men aren’t emotionless robots. You can have feelings and cry if you need to. The “men don’t show emotions” thing needs to die because it’s so not true

The wild thing is that even though Kagome swam within the first few episodes of the series to save a village kid, on top of no one taking the time to have her trained, why wasn't there any time to say, "Hey, since CPR wasn't invented and well-known until...why don't I teach my friends in the event of an emergency. Like drowning or a fire which were some common ways to die in this time period." I'm not mad at Kagome or the Tachi, I do get mad about the writing for the anime.
