In honor of you and Charlie, I finally finished a project for my mom that I had been putting off! It took 40 seconds of design and a 4 minute print, so I resonate a lot with the "It took less time than I expected". Keep making! You are a huge inspiration to me and a lot of others!

Morley, your 'boring' inventions were actually my favorite, I love little custom printed things that solve a hyper specific problem, like the cable clip or the extra large chipping bin. This is what 3d printing is made for and you're so good at coming up with those. I'm sure your 9 year old self is proud of you! PS: seeing your dad explains so much about why you are the way you are lol. Charlie!

Charlie was so ready with the ideas 😂 you absolutely smashed this challenge in my opinion. You also imparted some hefty wisdom, honouring your inner child, learning from mistakes, not beating yourself up, not getting in your own way, being flexible with goals when it makes sense, honouring relationships by being present, the list goes on! Bro out here being a 3d printing philosopher 😂❤❤❤

CHARLIE! haha I loved your dad, and you can tell that he has the same spark of creativity that makes your videos so heartwarming. You see a problem or a space for something new and just go for it, learning from mistakes and willingly to admit when you messed up :) I'm inspired by everything you do, and would love to see some of your "not youtube enough" ideas

Some of my favorites are the things you made around your van. I struggle with the same thing - my desk/shop/whatever is a mess and often times cleaning it up is a simple matter of bracketry, but it takes like months before I realize just how simple the solution is. And yeah, Charlie is great, as is your spouse, your cat, and your dog. :) One improvement to suggest, next time you make the cutting board holder, make it with holes in the bottom so that it's easier to clean when little bits of stuff fall in.

This is my favorite video yet. I can’t even go over everything I liked about it. From the foreshadowing in the title, the overwhelming expectations of yourself (myself), some of the underwhelming results (settling for phone stand), the compromises, versatility, EVERYTHING added up to a life lesson every viewer can learn from. Good work.

Dude you had it! The casing you created for the plug was floppy because of the electrical prongs. To remedy this, you could’ve added tabs to the top of the casing that latch onto the plug to eliminate the wiggle motion. I definitely like watching you work. As you’re creating, I’m thinking of things I would try as well. Keep up the good work.

A brave endeavor, and excellent exercercize. Good source for an extendable rod less flexible than an antenna - cheap selfy stick. I modded one by adding metal hooks to pick fruit higher than reachable. None of my neighborhood street facing trees are safe!

I’ve discovered your channel recently although I have watched several of your videos before, I wanted to add something about your woodworking videos I think even if the materials like wood were free you should also add an estimated value to the total value of the product, that way the customer will know the value of the product he will get, this should help sell the product faster and give a real value for all the work you do, great video and keep up the good work as always 👏

It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come with your ability in fusion 360, especially as somebody who desperately wants to design better things, but a lot of the stuff you invented are products already so while you may have designed them especially for your use case I feel like some of those inventions have already been invented. Invention is something totally new not just an already product customized to your use case.

Charlie - I love your videos! You really inspire me to try to make more useful stuff around the house. I also totally agree with you about the Kindle. I know they are wanting full waterproofness on the paperwhite, but please just put a couple of tiny page turning buttons on the side of the paperwhite (two buttons on each side like side power buttons not on the bezel) and I would be in heaven. I read in bed with one hand just like you. I found an elastic grip that mounts on the top and bottom that lets you slide your hand under to free your thumb up to at least be able to page forward. Keep up the great work!
