I agree, I downloaded the video and ran it at the absolute lowest speed, and there you can clearly see that the light starts to shine before even the button is pressed, so this video cannot be true and goes against all laws of nature. :)

The reason this can not work is that in order for the coil to perform its function of stepping up the voltage, it must have a changing magnetic field in the primary coil. The way a transformer works is that as the magnetic field collapses in the primary coil, a current is induced in the secondary coil. This is why transformers only work with alternating current, because direct current (from a battery) is constant, so it can't vary the magnetic field. Proper inverters have circuitry that creates an alternating current before stepping it up. The components shown here care not capable of doing this. Hope this helps clarify things.

With a capacitor, no alternating current is produced in a battery circuit that produces only direct current. In all the truth it is fake.

Imagine all the current needed from a 1.5V battery.. even at 100% efficiency, for a 40W bulb that would mean 26.67A (40W ÷ 1.5V). Amazing from a dry cell like that!!

No Not No man. there's a mistake. 40 w ÷ 220 v = 0.18 Amp. the primary of the transformer is connected to the bulb 💡 Not secondary of transformer.

@@gunjankumar504 lets assume, that the capacitor actually oscillates (what is impossible) and he runs a 10w bulb off the inverter. 10w fron 1.5v +losses makes 7 amps from this little ah ah battry. Trust me, im an electrical engineer. And never diy an inverter it could be lethal! Thank you.

Capacitor connected wrongly. Anyway filament bulb will glow whether it is AC or DC. But this bulb draws more than 25W current and also there is loss of current in transformer so 1.5v battery will drain immediately.
