I agree with that gentleman. I use to do in home daycare and I've seen parents lie and report providers to be spiteful. I seen one provider who literally jumped through hoops for a parent. Their son never ate at home because all they fed their kids were pop tarts and mac &cheese... the little boy always had a nice warm meal from scratch and the provider had no issues with his eating... she even made sure she didn't take x amount of kids even though she legally could have to make sure he had most of her attention... she missed her husband leaving for deployment because they needed her... she treated that boy like her son... eventually a new CDC opened near their house... and for convenience they wanted to put their son there... so when they got a spot they tried to break their contract with my friend... she understood why they wanted to move him but she said they have to obey their contract.... they literally fought her on it so they didn't have to pay $98 dollars.. she told them that at least understand that them breaking their contract early would be a penalty (you signed and agreed) and didn't give me a chance to interview families to fill his spot... they were pissed that either way they would have to pay... so what did they do? They lied and said she left their son in the car alone... so they can get out of contract and payment... they hat no proof of this but naturally she had to be investigated... she had to close during that investigation... when she came back cleared and was able to open again... she lost a lot of money, some of her clients because they needed care asap and didn't know how long it would be, and nothing happened to the parents for lying... she ran into them at the grocery store and asked them why they lied about her... and they said that she was being a bitch and her contract was bullshit... who suffered? My friend is just trying to run an honest business and an accusation can ruin her... but you never hear the horror stories of what parents do... how a parent was shaking their baby because of anger issues and baby died after being dropped off... but who got shut down and investigated? Her children being questioned...

Just because they pay less dont mean you lack you apply for the job you must do right by the kids no matter what
