In this video I am introducing the German stock market and giving the most important information to get started invested in Germany. Having German stocks is essential for an international portfolio.
I am also talking about the upcoming change in the German equity market in September 2021.

Thank you very much! :) Regarding additional information I would check out some free financial providers (such as yahoo finance), check out the named indices in the video and take a look at some components. I will cover some stocks I am currently observing in future videos.

Very nice introductory video ...my only issue with German companies they don't have high price appreciation relative to the N American markets. I guess volatility is less too for German stocks which you mentioned. So we have a lower risk reward and since world inflation is rising close to double digits it doesn't feel like its a good investment to beat inflation. My question is real inflation in Germany very low?

Thanks for your feedback and sharing your thoughts man! The inflation rate is currently very high in Germany (30 year high). Main drivers are among others insane energy prices.

Hi mate, depends on where you are from. I think most of the international trading platform offer access to the German capital market.

There are several stock exchanges in Deutschland, but almost all of the volume concentrates in Frankfurt. My european brokers offer only this option.

Hello, i am an Indian student in Hamm, i have a quite respectable portfolio in Indian Market. But, now as i am in Germany, i want to enter this market also starting small. Can you clarify between intraday eligibility in these equities. along with some advice what to look for and observe

Hi :-) Greetings to Hamm. Hope you like NRW. Not quite sure what you mean with intraday eligibility but I just assume you talk about the ability to make intraday trades on German stocks. If I am doing intraday trading which happens occasionally I usually prefer more volatile markets. But there are possibilities . Regarding brokers you should check out e.g. Trade Republic (1 EUR trading fees) but they don't have an API (unfortunately). In general you can take a look at companies which are so called "hidden champions". There are a lot of stocks with insane returns over the last years.
