I love aot, but I get a more realism tone from Invincible and to me personally that just connects it more to me, so it is way more “emotional” or “impactful” to me, Aot gets me in the feels too, but this show does it even more and in the comics it only gets better and better

They're very skilled in analyzing characters. They can understand a character better than I can when I do my first watch through. I have to do extra research to get what they are able grasp on the spot

(May contain spoilers) It's pretty funny, because as a writer I thought exactly the opposite. Empathy? Understanding the characters on a deep level? At the beginning of the video they confidently state that Nolan's motivation is to remain the only hero on the planet. Which is not only a misunderstanding of his character from the first three episodes, but also such a boring idea that if it were true, the show would have been forgotten a week after the last episode. Can you imagine how boring the last episode would have been if the whole season had led us to the "Nolan didn't want to share the earth with other heroes" reveal. Not to mention the complete rejection of Rex - Eva says he used to be different, and they had a hard time believing that still at the very end of the video. When Rex came to apologize from the bottom of his heart they fliped him off. If what you wrote is a joke, great job, good troll. If you're serious, though, I can see why Western art is so fucked up, given that people like you consider people like them a "valuable addition to the team." No offense to girls btw, they are great reactors.

Rex's ability is also low key pretty strong. Literally Ochako mixed with Bakugo, or Yoshikage Kira from JJBA. Anything he touches becomes an explosive.

There's also the fact that Rex is a good mid to long range energy casting combatant with explosive power. Monster Girl is close range melee, as well as Dupli Kate and Shrinking Rae. Robot is a tactician, whereas Black Sampson is also a mid to long range energy caster. Atom Eve is all of the above and more. Well rounded and logical team, if Eve had joined. If Eve and Invincible had joined, the team would have been nasty to deal with.

I suggested it about six months ago to them so hopefully they'll check it out. I think Justified would have won a lot more awards if it wasn't for the fact they were in direct competition with Breaking Bad. The ratings on TV Time have it pretty close to Breaking Bad level.

@@transformersrevenge9 to be fair most anime, even a lot of what’s considered peak anime, has fan service. It’s kinda unavoidable if you intend to watch anime, even if you don’t like it you sorta gotta learn to deal with it. They will probably realize that as they start watching more shows

George Washington owned humans for over 50 years. Thomas Jefferson inherited a plantation and slaves but didn't like it. He was one of the most out spoken voice for changing society and freeing them. Lincoln and Roosevelt did not own humans. And from what I know of history no United States presidents can be labeled as oppressors. My take on the earthquake guy is that his character is mocking people that hate america but don't know the nuance of it's true history. It becomes more obvious when you notice that the villain was giving himself brain damage every time he used the bracelets. lol

@@mehim2893 Speaking of nuance, you can't just say something like "George Washington owned humans for 50 years" and move on as if that was the entire story. George Washington was also very anti-slavery. The entire premise of the new country he was fighting to create was that all men are created equal. Part of the reason the colonies revolted was due to the fact that the British Empire would not allow the colonies to end slavery. They knew that founding a country based on the equality of all men would mean the eventual death of slavery. Washington included. Also, keep in mind that at the time, both Washington AND Jefferson were unable to free their slaves by law. Washington took the earliest opportunity he had to do so, which was on his death. Jefferson however was not legally able to free his slaves on his death as the laws were different in his state. And overall, at the founding of the US, the general consensus, even in the south, was that slavery was a dying industry anyway. in 1776 it was thought slavery would only last another 20 years or so because it was becoming less and less profitable. While slaves are "free labor" they aren't exactly free. The slave owners still have to pay for food, clothing, housing, and medical care for the slaves. Which was quickly becoming more expensive than just paying legitimate laborers. Then in 1800 the cotton gin was invented. Suddenly one slave using a cotton gin could do the work of 10 slaves. That greatly increased the profitability of slavery again and lead to its revival in the south. Oh, and then the US fought it's bloodiest war ever, against itself, in order to end slavery. The Earthquake villain wasn't meant to mock anybody. Unfortunately, people are being taught a politically motivated revisionist's history. American students are being taught that the founding fathers were actually evil. They were all just "racist old white men" who owned slaves and oppressed people, etc. It's disgusting. And the fact that it has even pervaded this super hero cartoon is just evidence of how complete the indoctrination has already become.

Dude, there’s nobody in schools teaching people that. People can arrive at conclusions that are different to yours without being indoctrinated. Were the Founding Fathers evil? No, probably not. Were some of them kind of shitty people and/or people involved in some reprehensible things? Yeah, of course. Those reprehensible things and the good things they did can both be true at the same. You go so far the other way to make them seem virtuous and it’s just as wrong-headed as calling them evil. Life is complicated; so are people. Glorifying somebody doesn’t change that.

All of that being said, I can say for damn sure that they were more virtuous men than you or I would have been had we lived in that era.
