yup. Just read it after the ep 5 & 6 cause I also didnt remember it and it goes almost exactly the same. If anything - show naturally expands the fight in great way making it even more intense and suddenly like "oh shit, didnt expect these high stakes". + spoiler - the change in the show - Shrinking Rae doesnt die. Honestly I think its fun, hope to see her explored. In comics its a 'he' and he isnt much of a character. His only thing is being jealous about Invincible stealing his glory in one battle and nothing more xd

first I doubt you would be able to convince one of the others to go and second he helped them stop it and gave rudy enough time to get the device thing working. Also to be fair the astronauts already were taking a risk going to mars and honestly its surprising the sequids wouldn't have been able to get through their space suits I mean its not exactly armor or anything.

I also read the comics but with the invincible community specifically, a lot of readers just aren't fucking subtle at all. I get it, I'm hyped too, but a lot of the times they don't even TRY to 'disguise' their references or add a warning or sometimes they straight up just spoil. Every adaptation has its spoilers, but idk why with invincible some people have ZERO consideration

It's pretty close. Almost manga close. Pacing changes and shuffling some sequence of events are the biggest difference.the

Honestly, I kind of recommend skipping first part of the comic that show already covered (at least S1) - show more or less is exactly the same plot-twise, some events happen sooner than those in comics, but all changes are for the better, due to show having perspective and already releasing after Invincible comic has an ending. There are minor changes in plot that are mostly totally insignificant, like Eve living in Africa at this point, not just somewhere in America forest, Amber is white blond girl so dont get confused and Shrinking Rae - spoiler - is a 'he' and dies in this exact fight in the comics, however she survives in the show - so there is so far the most glaring difference, but who the hell knows what they will do with it + she is very minor character, so maybe they will just give her something interesting to do in the background as she did already. So again - series adapts the part of the comics it covered so far much better in my opinion than its original medium. Further part of the comics from this point on - around second half of S2 - is already pretty good and will only get better and show seems to match the later parts of the comic in terms of writing quality. But thats my opinion.

I don’t think he was trying to be accurate. I think he was just overconfident and to be honest no one expected Rex to survive that. So it was probably just a mistake by him

@@damonestephens8722 honestly the fact he was headshot aside I’m honestly just surprised he didn’t bleed out I mean he had the big gashes on his chest as well as the severed hand and also when he got headshot it was bleeding pretty profusely as well.

tbh, he is off just like few centimeters. He still shoots him right through the head xD Its not like bullet only brushed side of his head - it went through his brain. Any other 'grunt' normally dies after shot like this. Not to mention Rex was already bleeding a lot from his torso being cut open by claws and his hand being bitten off xD
