Invincible is the amazing comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley which has been made into a truly spectacular and faithful animated series from Amazon Prime. Invincible tells the story of Mark Grayson and his growth and development, balancing being a regular teenage with the brutal and graphic world of superheroes.
Published by Image Comics, Invincible took superhero storytelling to new heights, incorporating classic themes from comics of the 1960's and 1980's, but unbound by years of continuity. In Invincible, characters were allowed to grow, change and develop - and in the animated re-telling - all those plot points are refined for a new audience.
In this video, we go over my collection of Invincible items - including several pages of original art by Ryan Ottley as well as sketches from Ottley, Cory Walker and Todd Nauck. We also look at the different lines of action figures, statues and toys produced for Invincible, as well as the upcoming action figures of Invincible and Omni Man from Diamond Select Toys.
