11:05. I gotta say, I really enjoyed Anissa's introduction into the Amazon Prime series, though I'm not really looking for "that" particular moment between her & Mark being adapted. Also, I was surprised that she was remodeled a bit in the show that she resembles Sasha Calle's Supergirl.

I really liked the side story with Donald, William and Rick. In fact that's one of my major problem with Invincible, i know it's about Mark, his father, girlfriend and the Vultrimites but it really sucks we don't see much side characters like William and Rick later on. They were minor side characters sure but William was very important in Mark's life. Although SPOILER at least we get a scene later on where Mark awkwardly realizes William is gay after Rick kisses him and William admits he's got a crush on Mark just like as Rick. They tell him how hot he is and after Mark awkwardly leaves William admits how sad he is because he thinks he's not allowed to fly with Mark ever again. In the middle of all the death and heavy storyline i loved that short comedy. I wish those 3 would've hanged around each other more often later on in the comics.

Anissa introduction was massively weak and by retelling the fight from the comic it has less effect.

Bro what? She beat his ass to kingdom come and not everyone reads the comics. They changed a bit but it’s still good. What would you do instead?

@@icinnalatte It doesn't really provide anything new to the show since Mark already get's beat up on the daily basis. I would have left the scene in its original form like the comics to provide a better effective scene. ( Dark but make sense for example that's what makes THE BOYS so interesting. ) And it also provides the audience with a situation where assault can even affect a man and adds to Mark's downward spiral with his mental from all the new weight and challenges coming his way. Instead it's just dumbed down into a weak anime fight but when it came to Omni-Man it was so impactful because of how fucked up it was. Omni-Man literally used Mark as a tool to destroy multiple people's lives just to convince Mark to take over the planet. While also telling Mark his mother was nothing but just a excuse to give him a legacy to a evil race of people. On top of all of this he even told Mark if he didn't agree that he didn't matter and he would just go make another kid and start over. ( WHICH HE BASICALLY DID WITH THE BUG PEOPLE. ) See how the effect changes?

@@icinnalatte It's easy to understand in the comic it was more effective because it showed if Mark doesn't push the line like his enemies then he will be overwhelmed to the point of trauma and tragedy. And no in the comic it was WAY different in this Mark just gets the same anime beat down Omniman gave him but less emotion. I don't think you actually read it at all.
