old gen 2 kpop was amazing in the sense that it wasn’t so sterilized and segregated between everyone. That’s why we were able to watch amazing shows like this or dream team or starling with idol genuinely being friendly and having a good time with one another. Now a days Kpop is really so heavily sterilized to the point where idols only care to entertain for their payment and keep the personal aspect away from it. Like if I had to describe it, Watching idols on shows from the mid 2000s to like 2012 gave a very homely warm feeling where as watching kpop now, while still very entertaining no longer holds that feeling of closeness, it’s rather just fun in a different sense.

I can still remember the scene where the MC ambushed their dorms to wake them up and she was all smile and then her cute but dance and then the scene where she absentmindedly sat on their makeshift toilet while munching on her tomato. This time really had some of the best shows and events in Kpop! Before the industry became heavily sterilized. I feel like around this time the sense of community was still very strong between idols, everyone knew each other and were friends so watching a show created a very similar atmosphere to watching friends hanging out. I genuinely miss this era so much.

One of the plus of original G7 is: they can make all variations of pairings worked.For me it shows how close they are off screen.. In this eps: SunnyHara is the highlight.. They're so funny together. at the end SunnyHaraHyomin is good too..

Time has passed, I've seen this so many times, but I've never noticed in the comments. Are you seriously judging Yuri for being chosen, or for appearing a lot? Do they really have good judgment?. Yuri is one of the kindest people you can meet, she cares a lot about the fans and always tries to give love to others. If Minho chose Yuri it is his criterion not yours; that other people choose Yuri has nothing to do with you either, she is a kind and smiling person. I remind you that she is the most criticized member of snsd, even now, first because she was too fat to be in the group, second that she wants to attract attention, third now that she is false, when you can see or hear, and even from people far from her, the good heart she has. YT recommending me this from 8 years ago tho I've watched this show when it first aired more than a decade ago haha. Feels so nostalgic lol. I liked family outing s1 better but i pretty much watch everything that has SHINee in it XD And back then we got so much varieties where idols can freely mingle with each other, too bad the same cant be said now. I truly did enjoyed the Golden Era of kpop :D

My thoughts exactly... I don't know why they all fond over Yuri and she's the only one of the G7 girls that's been shady the entire time. she's not sincere to me... it's all about her even when it's not her time to be in the spotlight she makes it about her. I find the other girls to be more calm, sincere, funny and just all round down to earth. Yuri reminds me of the Kardashians and that's not a good trait to have. Sunny's being treated the same way she has been treated in her... unrated and that's not fair. She deserves to be recognized for the talented, loving, warm-hearted and genuine person she really is.
