I tried using the Motaro Kameo with Reptile for the first time! Check out this FT5 with Lucifer who has an amazing Flash in Injustice 2! His Scorpion ain't too bad either!

Yeah it’s pretty funny. You can also make reptile invisible twice at the same time but it doesn’t change anything.

My suggestion for NR would be to make it Instant if you MB it as you basically spend a bar for no damage. Extending the duration makes no sense at all.

I've been wanting to start winning with Reptile, but I always felt he lacked somebullshit and I didnt know which kameo to use. I think you solved both those problems, so thanks!

Nah, Reptile has serious bullshit. Meaty Force Ball oki, particularly in the corner, is ridiculously strong. Not exaggerating when I say his oki is one of, if not the very best in the game. Slow EX Force Ball gives you gapless solo 50/50s. Double low. Double high. Low/high. High/low. All gapless. You can also leave a gap on purpose to beat any armored reversal in the game. Reptile definitely has some serious BS. Edit: He can only get a gapless double high in the corner btw

@@snipesmcfreely5879 Any mix is good mix, lmfao. Yeah, it sucks he can't follow up if you don't fully charge his back 2, but damage is damage. Not to mention he can go for Force Ball oki afterward. Also, you do realize even the players are human, right? I don't care if it's 46F of start up. Humans make mistakes. And if they block the charged overhead, big whoop. You're still insanely safe. Also, in the corner, doing a fully charged back 2 + Goro's ambush assist will do two things for you: first off, if you time it right then you can continue the blockstring for more pressure. Secondly, if you call Goro a little early then anything you do is a frame trap. It doesn't matter what they do. Even your back 3, your main combo starter, will beat their 7 frame jab. This is without slow EX Force Ball. With it then if you time everything right then it's always a frame trap.

I just feel with a character like this, where he’s super honest, I think invisibility is actually kinda necessary if u want any dirt with him. Idk I’m still trying to figure out what kameo to stick with, subzero does seem nice for the setups

I like the fact that reptile got so nerfed and you stuck with him I mean I know you have baraka as well but the fact you stayed with reptile is awesome. There’s a big difference in player a really good character and being a really good player. Much respect from America bee!

I love this, since mk2 i was a menace with invisible fighting, mortal Kombat Armageddon unlimited invisible i went the full round invisible most of times, againt the cpu is tricky they always seems to know where you are . In this mk1 i like the green puke animation to turn invisible but i dislike the small time in invisible

As a reptile main the biggest issue I feel like is he doesn't do a tremendous amount of damage unless he has a great assist that piggyback off his attacks. Subzero is cool for setups but each combo HB did only resulted in high 2 to low 300 damage so that means he has to reset and get another opener 4 to 5 times a match to win. I'm sure he knows this so it's not like I'm telling him something he already doesn't know I'm just stating for those of us who aren't interested in subzero kameo or already a high level player. I started using Jax for his air grab but it's situational at best. Of course everyone like sareena but it's easy and scales damage way too much. I personally like scorpion for his far hell fire blast using up and assist. Reptile has 2 versions of a half screen knock back that's usually used for an ender or to gain neutral if blocked but if timed right it can be combo'd after using scorpion up assist and finished with reptile's slide netting you low to mid 400 damage only requiring 3 touches and possibly a hit or 2 depending on combo starter and end damage.

F32 jump in meaty j.1 f121 breaks armour thats more than 22f start up and os delayed wake up. EXCEPTIONS: barakas reversal low profiles stand 1 so u have to do d1 or u can just block. Same goes for reptile but instead of d1 u can do d4 or b4. Ashrah reversal whiffs and cross up behind u but u can still punish her. F32 invisible walk up spaced stand 3 breaks most armours except i think shao, johnny and megan fox but u can low profile them with d4. And if u space it right it should be safe ish against delayed wake up into buttons. Well the one i tried was delayed wake up into d1 but porbably some buttons reach possibly. maybe scorp? but havent tested delayed interactions fully. Theres another oki options u could go for but im not sure if its practical and its f32 jump in j.3 buffer db and if u hit armour meter burn into db4 reptile close air teleport which has armour to punish. Doesnt work well on tanya as her reversal multi hits too fast to react late

I’ve been using Shao and Sub as a team. I get a lot of zoners and people who run so Subs ice shield is a game changer. I love this game. You can finally compete against scrubs. He’s been my best Kameo

Also, subzero Kameo with rep works so well, anti zoning on a zoner who can convert his zoning into combos or approach the slow FB with armor to force a bad situation

After watching this video a couple weeks ago im coming back to say sub is by far his best kameo if you wanna compete with the top characters. Completely destroys the lao/stryker/sereena meta, gives rep easy 50/50 invisi set ups, AND makes him a strong zoner/neutral god. Ive never won so many matches with rep and not only that but im winning against the top characters with him.

Ah, I forgot about this. I can't test it right now, but you might still be able to get meaty Force Ball oki while still going invisible, too. If not then you can just slow EX Force Ball which already gave you gapless 50/50s and made blockstrings that have gaps in them gapless. It also helps with projectiles, too, which Reptile kind of struggles against. Not to mention it's good for a meterless reversal when you get knocked down. Yeah, I might have to cheat on Goro. Sub-Zero might be the new waifu

What do you mean slow ex force ball gapless 50 50s? Like setting the slow ball up from range then dash in for 50 50s? Or doing it on block? Thought it was death on block?

@@jordansebert11 If you want the most bang for your buck then you set up slow EX Force Ball from fullscreen or near fullscreen. From there you time your back 3 with the Force Ball and if you time it correctly you can do it twice in a row. Or you can do back 3 into back 2, his overhead (use Goro assist since you can call him immediately and make it safe). Back 2 and then back 4. It's all in the timing of the Force Ball. You can always do it midscreen, but you can't get the double lows or all of that dirty mix.

I said before that Sektor is an excellent Kameo for Reptile with Zoning but not combos because his Teleport Punch is an summon Kameo, I did some more testing and it terns out that there are a few combos that do work well for Reptile with Sektor's Tele Punch, on top of Sektor giving Reptile set up ability for Invisibility.

Naaaaaaahhh i need help. I been trying this combo but on online , the invis inputs are wayyyyyyyy too inconsistent. Always just jumping by mistake. And i see even you dropped it 70% of the time so what hope do we have lol. Any idea on how we can make it more consistent/easier? Im thinkinh the release check could help

How do you do this combo? 3:51 for some reason the second ball doesnt bounce the opponent propertly (most of the time) i dont know if its the timing of the speed of the ball?

Speed of the ball, if your first force ball is regular one make sure the second is the far one. If you do close/close or far/far the second will not bounce them.

You can land 3 of them in a combo but they have to be different speeds. Hold back to make it go slower and forward for faster, then one just regular

Reptiles invisibility should activate WAY faster. There are so few ways to set it up that it’s practically useless.

You also get projectile invulnerability which makes him have amazing space control coupled with his force ball. A defensive option for getting through gaps with subs back kameo and resetting neutral. And an extra 50 hp and 13% forward throws

Not canceling, just running before the opponent gets up so it doesn’t hit before they have time to block.
