Hey Guys,

Many people have done the "Invisible chair" trick, some have shown Michael Jackson's forward lean that defied gravity. I've done BOTH in one shot...NO CUTS after approaching and leaning and sitting and walking away..just for fun :) MJ obviously used a different technique which involved a special shoe and a peg/nail on the floor to hook it, but it allowed only the front lean.

Answer: i dont know as i made it and didnt buy it. I would call it a leg armature to do the invisible chair and MJ lean tricks.
Question: where can i buy it? and, can you help me make it?
Answer: sorry i cant help on that.. i made it. and i cant make it on order as we have limited resources of people and time and we use it to make new things only.
However, i have shown everything that i made, so that if anyone wants to make it, show it to a metal fabricator and any experienced person can make it. none of the dimensions in my structure matter since all dimensions (even materials and thicknesses) will need to be according to the size and weight of person wearing it
Some people have even shown me some videos and tried to say that they dont use armature/framework..thats pretty nonsense.
Generally in these videos there is a cut between the first shot where th person approaches the spot and the second shot where he sits on the invisible chair. Theres always a carper or sometimes a gravel ground is chosen so that it can be disguised easily. As long as there is anything (carpet, mat etc), it is concealing a structure below thats perhaps dug into the ground level so as to loo normal.
Once again, do show me a video where a person walks to the carpet or loose ground and IN THE SAME SHOT (like i did), sit on the invisible chair....THAT is the difficult part

Pause the video at 1:33 and look at his left foot you can see there is a flap on it too hook on to something on the ground. And also how he moves his left leg when he walks and moves he drags his left foot backwards to unhook from something

not a all. this video shows both front lean done by Michael Jackson and the invisible chair trick using one armature. MJ obviously used a different technique which involved a special shoe and a peg/nail on the floor to hook it, but it allowed only the front lean.

Do you have a how to build video? If you you modify it with a bolt at the heel, and ccarry around a sturdy metal cane, you can insert the bolt into the cane and use that as support of you have no place to hook into

you'll always see a cloth or carpet...theres a metal plate or a frame underneath and if they are on grass or mud then its even easier because then one can bury a spike and have the hook showing on the top for the hooking

i dont think so. it has to be custom-made to fit the human dimensions perfectly otherwise one can also get badly hurt if things go wrong.

this one is not a DIY. its very risky to make something like this because if any joint fails, one can get hurt real bad. therefore i make these things and try it only myself.

Jonathan Li well actually he did “that move” by, several nails or “medal bit” all over the stage and in the heel of his (and everyone else’s) shoes were empty spots (like heelys, hmph your probably to young to know what that is) so he would put that spot on the medal bit and lean (plus he would still have to keep his balance) even though this isn’t how he did it it’s a very neat trick -(song with move “Smooth criminal”)

sorry but i cant take responsibility for it and therefore cant share it. problem is if one joint breaks then your knee or something could break too...and our armature was developed just enough to take my weight while i could judge the stresses on it while i was using it. it obviously not developed as a product that can be shared as a DIY otherwise i would surely have. If you'd like to use the method of how i did it, please go ahead and do it, thats why i shared visually, all the elements that went into making it..but details you'll need to figure out. best of luck also, if required, i'm open to giving any feedback while you're developing it, just share some pics on fb and will discuss with pointers if i can contribute facebook.com/Dartofscience-1449426145288964/

I just need one to lean over a sidewalk and that's all I finish concrete and would help my back as I am 21 years old and have had my lower disc fail since 16 years old can't afford surgury I have to eat pay bills car etc y'all know and don't think ima last very long I make 600 a week and bearly make. Thru with that and have lawns after work everyday no days off almost 2 months which I save that money for maintenance ,tools tools, but my back is about to give out on me can someone plz find someone who could custom build or sell it please God Bless Ya

Watched the video and read the description. This is incredible, and I've wanted to do it for some time. If there is any way you could post each piece used, any schematics used, or could potentially do a 1-off build for a discussed amount of money, please let me know. I've been scouring the internet for any sort of guide, and it's really hard to do a build guide just based off of a video. Thanks!
