@@louise4921 Things changed in his life, he was assaulted in Copenhagen and received a traumatic brain injury, which resulted in permanent loss of the sense of smell and taste and possibly some effects on his personality. You kind of get the impression that this was a very sensual person and the loss of the sense of smell may have pretty depressing for him, add on the fact that there may have been some chance of losing a custody case and he was probably simply driven over the edge. Sad.

The whole "Kick" album from start-to-finish was a masterpiece... no filler, no "lesser" tracks. Just track after track of creative brilliance. The 80s cuts from INXS, the Talking Heads, and REM were the bridge between what was 'new wave' and what became 90s college radio. Magnificent stuff!

Far out, how bloody good were they... Hutch at the top of his game. I saw them live at least 8 times and would go back to my band and say "we need to lift"...very glad we didn't (and couldn't in a zillion years)... InXs truly deserved more than what they got. I never saw Lennon/Paul McCartney, Jim Morrison or Mick Jagger. I didn't need to... Hutch joined the dots. R. I. P. The memories are heartfelt and genuine. InXs were the 1st band I picked to put in my Walkman... Big deal? Yep to a young 15yr old it was back then.... Especially thinking I cannot believe this was AUSTRALIAN! InXs all Kudos to you.

I remember seeing this for the first time, they were new in UK, and this video was on tv. Me and my friend just stood in our student flat , watching tv, with our jaws on the floor. We both felt like we were both pregnant by the end, that’s how godamn sexy he was. Gone too young ❤
