You get used to it after you keep doing it. It took me about two months before I got the hang of landing back in 2016 with Curtis Eads Flight School.

The upmost label on the dash is where they control the autopilot, the two screens in front show where they are heading, their speed and their altitude, and then the levers control throttle and speed stuff. And the overhead panel is where all the engine and power and lights stuff is

The technology on these jets is amazing. The air traffic controllers do an amazing job and so do the pilots. They work as a team to safely bring in the aircraft. Thanks for posting.

The final approach to 22L crosses over Rockaway turnpike seconds before landing. There is nothing more awe inspiring than driving along on that road when a 777 crosses just a few feet overhead immediately before touching down on the runway. It’s truly an incredible experience. It’s as if the landing gear is gonna knock your car over. It’s crazy! Great video….keep up the great work.

Being Bi-lingual, (French/English), it was nice hearing the Captain speak French to his co-pilot, at the same time speaking English to ATC...lol.

Much respect to those pilots and the ATC.......the tower is tossin' all kinds of info, numbers and whatnot to those pilots and they're catchin' it without skippin' a beat! I vote next time we get to see the 747 go by at regular speed before the video ends......but that's just me. Well done!

Grew up on Long Island, house is still directly over the flightpath for 22L and 22R. Always was cool watching them come in at just 3000 feet for landing. Surprised that nobody ever thought about expanding Kennedy or building a new field somewhere further east to take some of the load off.

It must take a lot of getting used to, communicating information which is so critical in another language, thinking in those units etc - but still communicating with other crew natively... great mental discipline.
