What a nice upbeat video for pts. preparing for RAI therapy. St. Luke's is a world class hospital in Manila, Philippines, so I am not surprised they would produce such a nice video.

here's a few things for cures for hypothyroidism Make sure you rest your feet Consider Wearing supportive footwear Try ice on your heel Try ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce pain and inflammation try night splints Do stretching and strengthening exercises. (I discovered these and the reasons they work from Quintrell thyroid plan website )

I had the biopsy done on my thyroid year and half, and thyroid biopsy niddles and then took tissues for the biopsy and then put a band-aid on my neck.

Had my thyroid removed 3 wks ago, diagnosed with PTC and sched for RAI anytime soon. So scary, I dont feel anything at first except for lump a little less than 2cm. Further ff up r/o it was suspicious for a thyroid cancer. So it was then confirmed after the biopsy result. Advise for young and old alike, dont disregard any lumps in ur neck. Had an early check. Afterall, early treatment is the best cure.

O wow I didn’t knew the thyroid can be removed I just ordered with my mum home thyroid test for 79 pounds as for last year I been felling to hot I been fainting I gained 30 kg in one month I’m all the time tied I sleep half of day at least and I fell choking in my neck exactly where my thyroid is ! :( all that time I also had period problem it is too many symptoms I have that are fiting overactive thyroid I hope in a week time I will finally know what’s wrong I’m 100 percent sure that’s the problem I will be relieved if it will confirm because for almost 2 years I been living the unknown and it is so hard I can’t even go out anywhere and before I used to even walk 27kilomenters it’s like 20 miles a day 4-5 h on legs non stop now I faint if I stand to long :( I hope you are ok now I don’t wish this illness to anyone

@@tahreemanam get appointment to see an endocrinologist. Initially they will take lab works to check your thyroid hormone, also they will run neck ultrasound at first. I hope it’s nothing serious. Stay well!

I had my RAI last september 13 here in taiwan. After administration of the medicine, no visitors (including medical staff) has been allowed for the whole 3 days of my isolation. My doctor and nurses monitored me through cctv, we talked through videocalls. Measured the radiation inside my body through a special device . i just had to stand in front of it inside my room, there was a small screen where I could see my doctor/nurse, and after about 2-3 mins, it's done.

this video is from St. Lukes located in Makati Philippines. this look way better. just take my I-131 today in Pamela Toude Eastern Hospital here in HK. they gave me the pill watch swallowing it then send me home and same as you give me a list of instruction of do’s and don’ts for 1-2 weeks

I have a lump in my neck and it’s hurts . Then been loosing hair , mood swings, heat flashes and coldness , forgetting things etc . My test results for blood test of thyroid come back today Texas time 3:30 pm and I am scared . I’m only 31. I’m tired all the time and it sux .

@@overcomer1307 found out i do not have thyroid issues . turns out it was a hyetal hernia and acid reflux causing stress to my body and doing all that . I had an operation for it november 2020 and now i feel so much better

Hi good day s lahat. Hindi ako ung patient pero ako ung.nagbantay sa pasyente ko dahil weak ung half body nya nagka stroke kase xa din inoperahan xa ng brain. So d xa mkalakad sa loob ng isolation ako yung nagbigay ng pagkain.nya kahit alam kong d pwede kaso need talaga nya kumain. May dosimeter ako during in and out s isolation and it was 1.7 yung nkuha s katawan ko and sad to say na.contaminate po akp. Pa advise po ano fapat ko gawin? nag water theraphy na po ako. Any other way pp or any check up po. Natatakot npo ako anong pdeng.mangyari s akin. Salamat po sa tutugon❤
