It hasn't even been 2 weeks since iOS 16.4 dropped and Apple is already throwing a new update at us - this time it's iOS 16.4.1! As usual with double point updates, this one is minor with a few bug fixes. However, there are a couple of major security patches that you need to be aware of.

Hopefully my music gets fixed in this update or soon. Every time I would try to shuffle my full library, the music app would freeze and I'd have to close out and reopen the app.

There are so many bugs for music and all anymore 😞 My battery capacity dropped nearly 12% in five months, right before iOS 16’s original release.. Keep in mind I only had my phone for nine months before iOS 16. But music, system data, couple others I’m forgetting, so many bugs!!

Actually the opposite for me. My focus mode is now bugged on 16.4.1 on my 13PM.. all texts no matter what come through and tested it with my wife’s phone. We’re not pushing notify anyways

@@BrandonButch my focus modes have been messed up since updating my 14 Pro to 16.4.1. They're not automation-based, but any time I set a focus mode on my watch, my iPhone's focus mode doesn't update. Setting it on my iPhone updates my watch, and my Mac updates in both cases. Tiny but quite an irritating bug!

The difference in battery life between iOS 16.3 and 16.3.1 was huge on my iP 14 pro max, I had to downgrade, that’s why I won’t update to 16.4.1 right away

If you’re using iPhone 13 series or earlier, install this update right away. There’s a drastic improvement in performance and memory management from the previous 3-4 updates. Siri response issues is fixed. However, battery life is somewhat similar to the previous updates.

Its normal buddy! The battery recalibrates in updates!(shows the real percentage) I got a 12 pro max since year and half ago, according to apple i got 87% ( nearly 3 months ago) and its impossible , but i downloaded a shortcut via a link, and it shows 84.36÷ right now at 430 charge cycles!

Strange my 14 Pro Max battery health is still at 100% and I been using it since it came out last year on release date. And I just updated to 16.4.1 and still at 100%.

Informative video Brandon! I don't think the weather app is even worth paying all that much or even any attention to, since there's so many different weather apps in the app store. I installed ios 16.4.1 on my iphone se 2020 late this morning and it's running beautifully with no bugs and/or crashes to report.

Mine is bad on 14 Pro. My friend on 13 Pro complains, too. Barely can manage full 24h, while previously it was more than 30+. 16.4 battery life sucks!

The battery life on my SE 2 got messed up after 16.4, I dug deep on settings to keep my battery life from draining fast and somehow it went back to normal again.

It’s like trip advisor, the minority will complain at small issues. The majority with no issues don’t see the need to post/comment and therefore makes it look like things are worse than they are to anyone searching.

After I updated to iOS 16, my battery life got so bad, and a ton of bugs. Especially the grammar correction and dictionary for some weird reason is horrible. Sucks so bad I wanna switch to Samsung or an Android phone as I used to be anti apple until 2015, when I did the switch. The previous iOS 16 update that came out not long ago, fixed the battery issues at least. I even got some space back. So super scared to update again as it can ruin everything.

Honestly, no matter how cool these updates are, I'll never update. This is because I've heard that newer software updates make older iPhones unusably slow and I'm worried this is gonna happen in a few years.

Dude I’m using iPhone 12 pro. My ear piece stopped working after 16.4. Thought it was just a bug or something. Update to 16.4.1. Didn’t fix anything

Hey Brandon, I updated my iPhone 13 Pro to the latest Apple iOS 16.4.1 (a) and started seeing this issue: the phone restarted out of nowhere, and the battery was about 35% only to find it after the restart 10%. I restarted it again to find the battery got back to normal. After recharging it to 90% and using it, when the phone reached about 50% it started doing the same behavior again and again. I referred to Apple Support who tried to help me by restoring the phone to the previous iOS version, but unfortunately in vain.

I just have issue with the update 16.4.1, they show update finished , but after that i can not press OK( got panic attack :) ), so u need to press the up and the down volume button then press power button to restart

Has anyone else experienced this bug: When you connect airpods (Gen 3 in my case) and the screen is off, the phone will lock up for a good 30 seconds. The screen won't turn on, you can click the power button, double tap the screen, nothing works. BUT when the phone catches up it will register all of your inputs all in a flash! So, if you tap the screen and swipe up then start tapping the screen it will follow through with those inputs, just on a delay. 30 seconds off inputs in just a matter of 1.5 seconds.

I have 13 pro max and didn’t update yet to 16.4.1- I’m having an issue with my voicemail messages not coming through until a few hours later or a day later I have to switch off cellular use and put it back on for my voicemail messages to be received immediately, anyone else having this problem? So for the weather widgets not showing information. Pre-update what fixed it for me was to go into settings for weather. Turn off location tracking and turning it back on. After that it showed me all the information. As for this update, not sure if it’s because of the update or TikTok in this case, but when I downloaded a video from TikTok and tried to play it in my album it wouldn’t move. Play/pause button would disappear like normal, but the video wouldn’t actually start. I did check sending the video through Discord and it loaded just fine.

I have an issue with this update when i connect the earbuds pr headphone the voice is still on even thou the voice as minimum off. First i thought its from my earbuds but after i changed with the headphone still same issue
