I started looking more into shortcuts and it is insane how much I can do. And the fact they can be also run on Mac too I see a really bright future for shortcuts. The thing that I really miss tho is the ability to watch activity on reminders, calendar etc. that way if for example I create a new event or reminder I could run a shortcut automatically

True, shortcuts is just amazing by itself but it lacks triggers for automations. for events/reminder related automations, I would recommend looking at something like zapier, miccrosoft power automate, or IFTTT. they are good for web based automation.

@@GeetMadan I looked into it. Currently the best i found was make from Integromat. They have direct hooks to the apple apps with quite a few event triggers from eventkit
