I always really liked iOS 6. Felt like all the new softwares focus too much on looking pretty, and slows down your phone too much.

This actually surprises me and at the same times kind of makes sense. It would get slower since the more updates it gets the more features it tries to implement, but at the same time since technology keeps improving at such a fast rate, Apple should be able to implement these features without necessarily slowing the devices down. Really interesting video man, I enjoyed it a lot.

I get that software tends to get heavier over time as more features are added, and newer devices get more powerful. But Apple really needs to offer users of older iOS devices the ability to downgrade to an earlier version such as iOS 6, like older Mac users are able to downgrade back to Snow Leopard. Simplicity and speed are arguably what makes the iPhone great.

Thanks for making the vid very informative I don't necessarily think they are making it slower on purpose but you have to think as new updates are released more resources are being used which is why they update their hardware every year. If they all loaded the same there would be no point in updating hardware. Just a thought could be totally off lol thanks again keep up the great content

Thanks for your videos, keep up the good work! Clearly, the overall performance of iOS has decreased over time. On iOS 5, 6 & 7, applications used to load instantly, animations were smooth, touch-screen's responsiveness was top notch. Do something Apple!

On my old iPhone 3Gs I had iOS 6 and it was the slowest thing ever..

Memories... My first experience with IOS 5 was writing an app for that at work. While doing that, I had no idea what an iphone actually is (back then, my cell phone was from the 90's and I wasn't interested at all in the cell phones my friends had). Once that app was available in the app store a month later, I still had no idea, what an iphone is (the boss tested the app without my knowledge on his iphone before submitting).... But I made an app for that.... xD but in the very end of the story, the boss gave me an iphone 4. The first I thought: "wow, this is big, chunky and heavy". Running that app on it was my very first experience in using a touch screen. It felt totally stange to me. :D.

UPGRADING IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO YOUR IPHONE, THAT'S WHY I HAVENT UPGRADED MINE, ITS A 4S, BY THE WAY. THIS IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN IPHONE AND AN ANDROID PHONE. WHEN YOU UPGRADE AN ANDROID, IT RUNS EVEN FASTER.
