Kaja , at last a Vlog and not only Ios but your staying at Francesco pension , I used too spend every Summer there in the mid eighties, my goodness so many happy memories, I loved Ios and it’s just so beautiful, and the sunsets 🌇 just so inspiring, thank you so much for this , happy travels and stay safe Hun 😊

First visited Ios solo back in 1997, again in 2002 because it was stunning, didn't party much. Hope to return again one day

I loved Ios! Went during the off period and it was a nice relaxing place. Even stayed at far out and it was pretty chill

Wow IOS has changed so much,visited there in 1982 whilst island hopping around the islands fantasic then,so chilled but still had the night life in the village area and only one bus on the island and only a few bars around Mylopotas beach,

Thanks for the vlog, very useful as I'm travelling to Ios myself in 2 weeks time. I really don't know very much about Ios and chose it mainly as it was the best fit for my schedule; Paros - Ios - Naxos.

thank you for the great video of IOS, now I have to visit that gorgeous place. Kaja, is doing a day trip from Santorini ok, or is that too crazy fast? (hopefully there are early Ferries from Santorini to iOS and then late Ferries back) .

I was there about 15 years ago. I agree it has it's own special vibe. You didn't mention the island's nickname which is "Little Ireland". This is due to the many Irish bars there.

Consider also that the high season in Greece is from beginning of July till the middle of August! For this reason Ios might appeared empty to you. Moreover Party people sleep during the day and the Chora is full after 00:00 !;)

@byKajaa still dead and not a good indicator of what ios is like busy. Covid reduced crowds almost everywhere so this wasn't an accurate picture of ios

The people in ios most of them is young and wake-up after midday BTW take the bus for maganari Beach you be surprised.

a tour of Ios if you are over 70 years old.... congrats!! Also butchered the word Magganari... which is actually the place you should have shown in your video... the calmest sand beach you will ever see

I don't know, but it seems to me that all the islands of Greece are the same, the white buildings, the churches, beaches, views, restaurants and cafes, maybe I should visit to find out the differences

Ofc they are similar but once you’re here you definitely see differences as well! :)

Yes and no(!). Islands on the same (island) group (like Cyclades ,Sporades ,Eptanisa... ) look the same but islands between different groups may be very different. For example (almost) all islands in the Cyclades (central Aegean sea) look white dry and barren ,but if you visit Eptanisa (Ionian Sea ,west coast) you will feel you are in a different country... And of course there are everywhere churches ,beaches ,views ,res&cafes ,crowded spots and empty spots ,cats and dogs and goats...

It’s a beauty island but for me was really boring , during the day there’s not much to do. I don’t know why they call it a party island, anyways it is beautiful, quiet and pricy but nothing better than santorini , in my personal opinion !
