What a gem if a lake. I have a kayak bass tournament there on September 12th and I can’t wait. Thanks for all the work you all do to give us great fisheries here in Iowa.

How does one go about getting a job like this?

Just came back from there... all I saw was Carp, and alot of them. Never saw that many in 2019. Very sad to see this lake over run by carp.

Wish we had good fishing like that in N.E. Iowa, to get any fishing like that, we gotta go to our Neighbor states, Minnesota or Wisconsin, we don't have no Walleye fishing up here at all that mounts to anything? I haven't even been to the dead sea for a year or so! I heard it's still a joke! Our license don't give much of any kind of benefits up here for fishing ! We got little Volga lake 😆what everyone calls the dead sea, it's pretty much a joke !😆

We came up on Saturday from Whiting to fish Largemouth. Came back today(Sunday) and left right at sundown. We were surveyed by who I think is one of the guys in this video. We kept track of all the weights. 23, Total weight of 45lbs 6oz. Largest was 2lbs 14oz. Most were right near or at/above 2lbs. Awesome lake! Awesome town. We will be back soon.

now i know where to put my nets

So you just buy new nets everytime you set? Never seen people cut fish out usually you try to not ruin the net, but when you dont have to pay for em...

Kiss all them fish goodbye, get a lake good and ruin it by posting on the internet!
