We are a family farm in central Iowa. There's Papa and Granny, Adam and Jill and 7 children.

That water noise sounds like a gushing river! We were so involved with our own flooding here in Texas, that we failed to remember other states that were going through the same! We are praying for you, Todd Family Farm!💖✝💖

It's hard to believe that we were in a drought last week! My how things change so fast,, at the snap of God's fingers!! 😊 I pray the water didn't stay on the crops long enough to have to replant. We are praying for you Todd family!! 🙏

How many crops do you estimate have been lost? Right now there are violent storms headed your way. Iowa has taken so many tornadoes this year. Lord keep people being wise in protecting themselves tonight. Keep them safe til the storm passes by.

Stay safe brother. Remind the WHOLE fam that those waters are killers. They are merciless. I grew up around that my entire youth and we have lost livestock, neighbors, and even a few buildings to those angry flood waters. And that is what they are... angry. Be safe and keep the brood safe. We have a couple bean fields that will more than likely be a total loss. We are hopeful that our corn will recover.

Abby, I wonder if all the storms, tornadoes, and flooding in our country could be a sign of Christ's soon return? I know crop damage from flooding is very discouraging. I'm praying that God will give you and family special grace and strength to overcome! God bless!❤✝

We only got 4 inches, but north of us got more. That water made its way to us in a hurry!

Hi Abby, it’s a lot of water. I hope it did not do any damage at home and I hope you’re not trap to go somewhere we a lot in New York Rd. flood along the mountains every year and I enjoy it digging out front of pipes but I worked hard and I had a long day I can remember my old days my old life running a grade all You stay dry and I wish I could show you the houses all are underwater towards Albany, New York route 88 along the mountains. You can see the trash how high the water was over the trees, every houses all were flooded in the area and the road washed out to go with dirt. Gravel stones gone somewhere along the rivers lot of stones came down the hill fill up the rivers and we were told we cannot clean them out because of the fish and I don’t understand that why not if we clean it out the houses won’t get flooded out and we got a lot in New York State high mountains at the house on the bottom are in trouble can flooded i’ve been out to the flood zones for two weeks sometimes a month work a lot of hours every day. Have a nice day kiddo. Stay safe stay warm and stay away from the flood. I don’t want to lose you. You’re a good good girl I meant good friend and you have a good family, stay strong. Do your best people need help

I saw in another reply, you say you are in Tama Co IA. Not sure if I have bern through there or not. My ex was from Iowa Falls and she has a brother still there. Her sister is in Des Moines. I am in Southeast Missouri. Floods are a part of our lives as well.

The worst of it was southwest of us. We have a little hail damage and the crops look a little rough after the flooding, but we are very thankful it wasn't worse.
