Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. We have a wide range of International equipment from small tractors from the 1970s to newer large farm tractors!

I just started following your channel just a couple of weeks ago and I've recently watched some older videos that you have I really enjoy watching you come together with family and friends and how you Fellowship I also notice how clean your language is and I really like that about your channel I can't wait to see what you do next season keep the videos coming brother and God bless you hear from South Carolina

Also man those woods up there are pretty! I'd love to try out that kind of woods and do a drive. Down on the Eastern Shore of Maryland we have more marsh and wetlands that we hunt.

Hey Nick 835, I use to hunt Eastern Shore. I hunted Millington, Wye mills, fruitland and wicomico. There are some nice deer there.

That was a nice hunt. Even if you did not get one you were in a good place. I would have moved a bit farther to your left. Deer will always run to the highest point especially the bucks. and if you are higher they will wind you less. Not sure where Stretch was at but where all the deer ran is where I would sit next time. I did not hear any yelling on that drive and they deer spooked nicely and came right to your hunters. Sometime you miss! Goes with the territory,

I've heard of to many stories of people getting injured or even loosing their life from those kind of stands. Please be careful with no safety harness on!

Hartung farms I’ve really enjoyed ur hunting videos it’s different then how we hunt here in the blue grass state, but I wish we could hunt like that, I’m diffidently better shot with shotgun than a rifle. Some of the states further south get to use dogs I sure wish we could here in Kentucky. Hartung farms take care great videos from Kentucky 🏇

Hartung Family Farms try bubba round trees out doors I think u would enjoy his videos and also big pencels out doors they hunt deer with dogs I believe they are in South Carolina, I really enjoy hunting I got a 16 point this year, take care thanks again for ur great videos 😀

i'm just curios why you don't you put a shotgun scope on your gun, instead of taking chances of wounding a deer... put a slug barrel on your shotgun and 170-200 yrd you're good to go... from you barrel, looks like a smooth bore only with sabot slug only, if that's the case you're 75 yrd most ..

Actually my 12 ga Mossberg model 500 AB with a 28 in. Vent rib smooth bore bird barrel, with plain 2 and 3/4 in Winchester slugs will accurately reach out to 130 yards, pulling up 2 inches high!!!

Because we don’t like to shoot the small dogs, it’s our philosophy that we try to let the small ones go and let them grow

@@HartungFamilyFarms So you want to reduce the deer population? The rule should be "IF ITS BROWN ITS DOWN". We hunt farms like that in NY and nothing gets passed by, per the farmers request. You folks need some serious lessons in hunting.

Dave Martin we aren’t going to kill 1 year old deer. Now there are farms that we occasionally hunt where they want everything gone but we don’t like shooting dogs

Heeer goes for a comment , constructive criticism , as it were : next go around why not include interviews with hunters , pictures of harvested deer, action shots of scurrying deer , lunch breaks with accompining jaw jacking ...otherwise your material was pretty dull and lacked pazzazz ...any way, hope this was helpful , thanks..

Because their season is so short there is no real reason to sit and wait and wait when you need meat for the freezer.

How many times have you remarked " cool hunt " , "oh well " , we lost count.. Giving you an F for this production would be far too generous... Tossing the camera around , wiggle waggle was irritating if not nauseous ... So , please don't make any more of these pathetic messes.. Oh well , there's way more loser hunting videos out there than good ones ..

Well thank you for the feedback! I appreciate you watching the whole video. Keep in mind, this was my first time i've ever taken a camera along while hunting. We were the best driver the first time you ever drove something, i would bet not. Another series coming up next month, I hope you find that one a little better
