I love Iowa State, but lets temper our excitement when it comes to talking shit about Alabama. SEC and Big 12 are both great conferences. #1 and #2 no matter how you look at it.

Never. The Big 12 is better than the SEC. That's the straight truth. They have 4 more teams in their conference and yet we both always have the same amount or more ranked in the AP Top 25. The Big 12 was, what, 28-1 in non-conference play last year. 10 Big 12 teams made it to a bowl game last year, and TTU was only 1 win away from making that 11. The SEC is built on maybe 2 good teams a year, the rest are average. Take away the state of Alabama, and they only have 2 recent championships.
