I'm curious how you guys' pep band is formatted at Iowa State. I go to South Dakota State and our pep band is 2 groups of 35 players. There is an audition process, but you only have to audition for your first year, after that you stay in. Do you guys have an audition process? Is there a set number of each instrument that can get in? Do you guys get paid? I've watched a number of your videos and the pep band sounds amazing, I can't wait for ours to start on the 7th.

We don’t get paid, and there is a set number for each spot. It’s fairly competitive, usually mens band is most of the section leaders and upper class men from our marching band which has 450 members

@@brandonswickdrums1615 Cool cool. I noticed you guys have clarinets and piccolos too, we don't. We have alto and tenor sax, and all marching brass instruments (trumpet, mello, trombone, baritone, sousa).
