All flotation no traction?

That's a really late model 4755 I've only seen one with the exhaust pipe on the side like the 60 series tractors that came right after them. As for the big tires think of like this the more rubber u have on the ground the better!!

My favorite tractor is the one I own, it's a 'RollsHardly'. Rolls down one hill and hardly up the other!

Where's the air-intake and pre-filter? I had never realised the 4*55 had a clear view over the bonnet/hood (except for the frame of the cab, of course). Tick-over sounds a little unsteady. In our 4250 we were told by the dealer to put the revs at 1500 if left ticking-over for anything beyond short periods to limit coke build-up. The powershift gearbox was awesome.

Broad front tyres mean a enormous stress for the steering and the axle.

That would go well on a peat works. i used to run a fiat 160/90 on triple rear and dual front tyres

I worked at a job shop building horsch roll-flex's , baskets and frames. Worked in every part of the shop. The bare metal parts left there, went to paint then off to two different assembly facilities in ND and SD.

Thats the first john deer tractor I remember Im from Czech republik there where no john deer tractor till that day untill farmer start buyng different tractors then czech Zetor this is first usa tractor I remember
