you forgot to disconnect the battery

YES, its highly recommended to disconnect the battery before any repair done on any device. But i normally dont do on ipads.

Excellent work mate! Already subscribed! Can you please tell me about the quality of the replacement screen. Is it as good as the original one? My touch screen is working just fine but the glass is broken.

I always prefer suppliers who gives lifetime warranty in the parts which excludes physical or water damage. So in case the touch issue comes, its covered. Btw the screen i use is of good quality. Touch and lcd quality is great.

I checked mobilesentrix, they offer 3 version of screen replacement for iPad Air 3. 1 LCD assembly with Digitizer Refurbished 159$ 2 LCD assembly with Digitizer Aftermarket pro 130$ 3 LCD assembly with Digitizer Aftermarket plus 119$ Could you please tell me which one should I get?

I bought the ipad air 3 and the lcd broken inside after i used it for two months :”) now i dont know where to get it repaired 😭

check your local repair store. it's just an easy repair, however the cost of the screen is a bit expensive, since the digitizer and lcd are intact.

Thanks for this video 👍 I have changed plenty of digitisers on iPads so this is a bit different.. is there a reason why Apple glued the digitiser direct to the lcd ? When the kids break there devices it usually costs me £20 for a digitiser but this time screen costs £130+ arghhhh

Yeah that’s what I was hoping this was. Title misleading. This includes the expensive digitizer lcd.

Where did you get the replacement from. A link would be appreciated. I take it that the new replacement didn’t come with the home button therefore you have to use the original home button? Thanks

Which country are you trying from? In Canada we get most parts online. Suppliers are from China anyways. Amazon or Ebay might be your options. Yes the screen doesn't come with the home button so we have to use the original for the finger print sensor.

Bought from eBay for the smallest price. I usually just check the reviews and ratings of the sellers. It came from China, everything works fine.

Great video mate. Did you have any problems with the screen not adhering and the home bottom not working..? The touch id works but the home button doesnt do anything when you press on it.

Well a faulty screen night give issues in the touch. But if home button is aligned properly than it should work. I have experienced that finger print stop working but not about the home button.
