This video shows how to replace a broken glass screen on the iPad 9th generation. Heat will be needed to remove the old cracked digitizer. Original home button must be reused in order for touch ID to work.

Do you know how I could order the little black thing that goes on top of the home button connector? It came off with the adhesive from the old home button.

I haven’t much of a clue at this type of level, because I was wondering if by any chance you might put show us a list of tools/things we will need, for example, do you need to have an earthing band/bracelet just in case of static?

Does after market touchscreen compatible with Apple Pencil?, does it have different performance?

@@GusriYonaldiI had my screen replaced once before (not by apple). After the replacement, non apple brand pens like Goojodoq stopped working. Only apple pens work. Also, there is a very small part of my screen that can be drawn on. Not a big issue for my because it’s not in the middle of the screen. ^ Sharing my experience

@@GusriYonaldi No touchscreen is compatible. Apple and their nasty policies to be blamed. In fact any exchange of display (When complete) even in Apple's hand, will result in abnormal behavior of Apple Pencil... Not many know this because they don't use pencil. There is only one solution to this and Apple doesn't want you to know that.

One Question is the laminated machine use to laminate the touch digitizer onto the LCD display that important or i can get the job done without that machine?? i have the iPad Mini 5th Gen and the touch digitizer is broken but the LCD display is fine.
