I show you how fix an Apple iPad Pro 11-inch 1st gen (2018), 2nd gen (2020) or the 3rd gen (2021) that is that is stuck in a boot loop where it is constantly restarting over and over. If you tried each step at least 7 times we should at least 65% LIKES. So if this worked of ryou plz LIKE and comment which step worked for you so others can see and if no go plz DISLIKE this video. Thank you. My iPad 11 Pro was in boot loop hell. Apple Store tech ran tests and said the logic board is shot, repair cost $450 with only a 90 day warranty. I bought an iPad Air as a replacement but didn’t like it. I returned it and was about to buy a new 11” Pro. I saw your video and gave it a firm smack , it’s been working fine ever since! Hey guys so I followed all his instructions 8 times each and & I didn’t think I was being aggressive enough but rewatching this video motivated me to slam it just a little harder to wake but my screen crack now. And prior to that I spanked it with a belt. If anyone has less violent ways to fix my iPad let me know. 📵💢♨️

My iPad Pro suddenly acted up today randomly. The pink purple screen comes on for just a split second and then crashes. Boots up again and once logged on (after entering password), the same thing happens again. And again.

huh- mine is a thing where i see a spinning thing, and then it restarts my ipad and when i try to put on my ipad password it happens again to the pint i have to turn it off, and sometimes if i somehow stop it, i see half ofmy app icons fucking EVAPORATE out of existance and i only see the app names-

Thanks so much. The third thing the tapping worked. I live in the middle of nowhere and apple wanted to charge $1k for me to send it to a service centre. I’m so excited after a week to have finally found some advice that worked.

Out of pure luck, you probably could hit a wire or ribbon back into place. Every time it's worked when I've had boot loop. Third time now.

Put my iPad in the freezer fixed a boot loop but if I hold the iPad and tap the screen for a few minutes it started a boot loop again. Put the iPad again in the freezer for 10 minutes it came back. What should I do from here?

Unfortunately didn’t work for me, mine is stuck with the Apple logo that disappears for a few seconds then returns. Any suggestions?? -- Took mine to Apple store and they had to restore it for me :)

@@TheVegan15 What I did was (on my phone), I used find my iPhone which my iPad device is on, choose that device and erased everything. It was the only way I could restore it without going to the store. After I clicked the volume up and down and then long hold the power button (like the videos suggest), it came on like a new device. I used my Apple ID to log in.. don’t sign in using your passcode because it will instantly restore everything which is what you DON’T want because then the problem will start happening again and it will piss you off. You can sign in using your Apple ID as you set it up again, but don’t back up the things from your phone or old iPad backup YET. Once you’re done setting it up, update your iPad to the latest update. Once that’s done, you can restore everything else (I didn’t restore my apps and stuff bc I worried about the storage.. just re-downloaded the apps I actually use on my iPad). The problem is most likely that you haven’t updated it in a while (like me) OR that you had no storage (also like me).. not sure which is the problem.

@@diamondmcp Thank you so much for taking the time out to help me with this information. I really don't want to go to the apple store. I tried to update it through my computer via iTunes and hours went by as it said it was preparing my iPad. Very frustrating. So based on what you wrote, it seems easier to restore via find my phone vs the computer connection /iTunes.

@@TheVegan15 No problem!! No video on YT was helpful so I tried many things until something worked and figured I’d come back and help someone else maybe. And Yes, It probably is easier this way. I tried going through iTunes as well and updating it that way, but I couldn’t tell if it was going to go through since it keep showing that loop. So I did it that way and it was all fixed.

1- buttons comb. till apple logo 2-charge and do the same 3- after apple logo goes. unplug charger and SMAP BUTTON 4-tap method 5-still? Massage(press two thumbs) dont crack screen 6-still not out of the loop? do go to step 1, sometimes u need to do it 7 times

Doesn’t work the same when it’s already fixed mine is in boot loop and before I even get to press those buttons the Apple logo pops back up but it just goes into bootloop mode over and over

this was my problem too. wait a while and do the two buttons quickly and hold the power button until the logo pops up. also make sure the logo goes away before you do this, not when the logo pops up but right when it leaves.

@@evechuy No and im about to post about my experience visiting apple store after this. My warranty expired a couple of months ago, and they said they couldnt help me due to it if i didnt pay up the price to repair it. I told them it was basically the update that bricked it. They said under terms and conditions of apple that could happend and they are not responsible for it unless you have warranty. They couldnt reset it neither could i. So i basically asked them if i should never update an apple product if the warranty is expired and they were 2 and they litterally had no answer for it.

Is there something to worry about here? I found I had a loose ribbon or wire on the internal structure of the iPad, because I repeatedly tapped on the screen as it was an old thing I used to fix boot loop before. I've escaped the boot loop, but for some reason, almost every icon for an app is missing. As in, not there missing, like the file never existed. Another thing I observed is when I opened settings, the iPad struggled a bit. The app almost immediately crashed and when I opened it again it used more power to do smaller things. Now, it is functioning properly except for the icons, which I can get over. I've had boot-loop 2 other times before this. So, is there anything to worry about?

Hey these worked for me before but I tried to update it to iOS 16 when it was charging and I came home to it being stuck on the boot loop and now all of a sudden none of these work or matter of fact anything, it won’t boot into recovery mode or DFU mode and my Mac and pc won’t recognize it with updated iTunes and operating systems please help me

Thanks for the extended way to reboot- plug in the power cord for ten minutes, tap all areas of iPad, then do the three stage process. It worked.

I did not drop mine or anything, I was working on it, then put it down for 10 minutes, came back to it and all of a sudden it got into boot loop? Why?! mine wont turn on for more than 5 seconds, then it will just continue to cycle off-onn-off-on until I attach to Itunes, then it will go to black restore screen and ask to restore. Sure, first thing it does in process (Even in DFU mode) is turn off the Ipad! Then it will start the power cycle again without ever resyncing with Itunes. Never dropped, never gotten wet. Always in a skin. 7th gen 10" 128G model. No chump change to replace but thats what Apple wants.

Besides the sequence of button pushes, the rest of these "fixes" --such as 'massaging' or pressing the screen or lightly dropping the iPad--all point to hardware failures. Any mechanical effort can only serve to remedy a loose connection or dislodge some FOD (foreign object debris) inside the case. For all hardware issues: the thing needs an authorized repair. It's quite comical to watch, actually. I'm certain that some of these do yield temporary success.

Trying this now on my sons iPad. Hopefully sticking it in the freezer works. I keep getting error code 4013 cause it keeps disconnecting from ITunes when I try to restore it.
