The SKUs of the M2 iPad Pro models released near the end of October 2023 will have a factory initial software update up to iPadOS 17.

@@zaheerahamed7545not sure if you read what he wrote. If you buy a m2 iPad at the end of October 2023, you will get updated directly to iPadOS 17.

@@zaheerahamed7545which doesn’t mean you cannot update further, it just means you will get updated initially to iPadOS 17 when you buy it and open it for the first time.

I had a 10th gen iPad kzfaq.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

Almost all basic features to half of the advanced features are there, but I noticed some Excel formulas don't work on iPad.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Most people don't need the iPad Pro. If you are not doing any professional stuffs, iPad Air or the normal iPad is more than enough :)
