I have bought a 12 mini back in December and this being my first iPhone ever, there is no big issues I have with this phone. Not one being it the iPhone and neither for its size. It is the perfect size and the battery lasts a whole day easily. I would buy it again, the iPhone 12 is too large for me now.

If there was a pro mini, I’d buy it in an instant. The phones have honestly gotten too big for my taste.

Love mine. So glad they finally released a phone that wasn’t the size of a pizza box.

I just purchased this phone today. I’m telling you I love it. I personally like smaller phones so the size is not a problem for me. I really have to say I am thoroughly happy.

1.5 months with my 12 mini. Upgraded from a iphone7 and found myself saying “I love this phone” so many times in the first month. Still love it. Glad I went with it!

I’ve switched from an iPhone 6 to iPhone 12 mini just for it’s size . I can use it using a single hand to navigate around it and it’s easier to sit in my pocket. It’s definitely worth the buy and if I wanted to get a bigger phone I would’ve gotten the iPad 😉

I bought mine when it became available in uk. I have my 11 pro max as well but haven’t used it since so i am giving it to my brother. After using the mini the max feels like a brick. It actually helped me downsize in screen time on the phone and be more productive on tablet and pc instead of mindlessly scrolling on the phone. When proper battery cases become available will def buy one but even so it charges really fast. it’s sooooooo damn cute and it actually fits in my pockets. Love this tiny beast.

I’m happy the mini came out I feel represented as a petite person. Huge devices are so uncomfortable to use. Might trade the 11 for this 👀

I never upgraded from my 6 (for multiple reasons) but one of them being size so I'm really happy they made another smaller one cuz it really is just so much easier to use instead of always changing your hand position and reaching your thumb to the corners

I absolutely LOVE my mini. It feels like my first iphone which as a little kid, had the square metal frame and small form factor. The 8plus was my next one but it was so big I was two-handing it and I have an ipad if I want a big mobile screen. So the mini is my phone now. It feels good in my pocket, it doesn't feel like the offbrand discount version of the newest with its completely updated guts, and I feel like it captures some of my childhood with its elegant glassy back and front, but with an even better screen stretch. This is honestly the perfect phone, the iphone of my dreams.

Thank you for the post. Before the mini release, I had contemplated upgrading to an SE 2. After the release of the 12 mini. I was sold. My hands are average in length, so I Love the smaller form factor.

Love the mini. Sure the battery won’t last as long as the bigger iPhones but surprisingly it counteracts that by charging right back up so fast. I can be at 40% and plug in for 10-15min and be back up to around 90%

I definitely think it’s a great device. The iPhone 5s design was my all time favorite iPhone design (a great size, shape, and form factor - with the edge to edge screen of the Mini is a killer package) but for me, the 12 is it because of battery life. My current iPhone 8 is draining like crazy. I need a phone with greater battery. If it had the same battery life (which I understand is difficult given its size) I would 100% be on the Mini train. My iPhone 12 arrives today, and after years of needing an upgrade, I am very happy to be getting the 12.

I went for this phone a few weeks ago as it reminded me of the iPhone 5, my favourite model I’ve so far. I absolutely love it! The best iPhone I’ve ever owned by far. Great performance and is it’s so refreshing to be able to operate my phone with one thumb!

Thought it was going to be too small but now I can’t let it go it’s brilliant! 👌

It’s a joy to use the mini. Absolutely loving it! Yes my budget was such that I could either get 64gb iPhone 12 or 128gb 12 mini. I went with the latter and have no regrets.

I bought one when they first came out and I absolutely love it. I was looking for a smaller premium phone and it meets that need plus.

For a case I’d recommend the expensive silicon Apple one. It doesn’t bulk up the phone & makes it look sleek & expensive...I could argue that the phone looks equally as good with the cover on as it does without the cover....

The size?! It's the size that makes me love it. (My favorite iPhone EVER was the 4S... smaller than the 12 mini.). I've had larger iPhones (the 8, the XS, the 11) which never fit comfortably in my pocket. The 12 Mini is perfect!

I love this phone. I watch hours of youtube on it and have no issues with its battery life. The size is is perfect. Same size as the 6s.

Amazing phone. Came from the OnePlus 7 Pro. This 12 mini is lag free, solid battery life. Definitely meets my needs. I did not miss 90hz screen because of how smooth iOS is already. If you are considering this jump from a bigger phone, I’d definitely give it a shot if you are wanting a smaller phone.

Just picked up the red mini and I love it!! Normally I find myself leaving apple and going back to android but I love this phone!!

The 12 mini is perfect. Form factor was very important for me, and since I'm not a heavy data/game user, battery life isn't an issue.

Switched XR to 12mini in January. Just loving it, more than any phones i have ever owned. So much more than the 11pro i own for work. Size is perfect, battery never an issue for me

I had a Xiaomi mi 9t pro with a 6.39 inch display. I sold it and bought a 12 mini which has a 5.4 inch display. And i love it. I was so tired of phones with huge displays. I hope apple keeps making these smaller form factor phones.

I’m really glad I went with the mini. This form size is perfect. The smaller screen size is not small at all and the battery life is pretty good. For me I can get through the day with 35-40% left to go. Charges fast also. So battery is never an issue. Love that I can one hand this phone and actually put in and take out of pockets with ease. Best iPhone I ever used for sure.

Using mini for the last 3 months,and I’m pretty happy with my purchase!

If you have a laptop or tablet for more viewing/work intense use, this phone is perfect. A joy to use and hold in your hand.

I'm still using an iPhone 6+ so I'm always watching curiously as new phones come out. I still haven't had any reason to upgrade. I'm not a heavy user and my battery has recently been replaced, so it still…works. That said, I'd be tempted by this one if I had to buy right now.

The 12 mini basically takes the size of my 6s, and combines it with the screen of my mom's 7 plus. Yes, the battery isn't as good as my brothers XR, or my mom's 7 plus, but it's miles better than my 6s. I was debating between the larger 11 and the 12 mini and your review has pushed me to leaning heavily towards the 12 mini. I don't like big phones. When I hold my brothers phone, I always feel I'm going to drop it. With my 6s, I never have any issues with holding it. Plus, I don't have huge hands either, so the 6s fits perfectly, and I'd assume the 12 mini would too Thanks Jason! First video of yours I watched, and I'll definitely come back to you in the future!

For me, it's the size that tempts me most!! I love the squared edges and have been an iPhone 4, 4s, SE (Gen 1) adopter, so this seems like such a natural progression for me, although even with the price drop it still seems fairly on the pricey side..! I also use the phone more like a phone and less like a full-blown 24/7 media centre, so I think I'll be alright on the battery front :P For me, the real question is... Black or White??

Battery life Really improved a lot after ios 14.5 public beta 3. im using it for 2 days now.... im getting 6 to 6:30 hours SOP which is actually really good

I love this phone product red 128gb! I went from the 11 pro and wanted this smaller form factor flagship for some time. I don’t use my phone as my main content consumption and allows it to feel like a phone again. When needed it can do everything and anything I want it to. For content consumption I put my phone away again and have used my phone less everything I wanted. Battery life not an issue!

The 12 mini isn’t even that small. It’s the same size as the screen on an S8. Phones are getting too big

Last iPhone I had that was this small, was iPhone 5s, and in my opinion this was the best iPhone barn none. I just went ahead and purchased iPhone 12 mini yesterday, and I am absolutely in love with it, even though I already own an iPhone 12 pearl max, and a Samsung galaxy ultra S 21, but the mini, is my favorite phone, my go to phone, again and again.

When I upgraded to the XR from a 5s for battery issues, I was completely happy with how long I was getting without recharging. Then there was a deal with my carrier that made me upgrade for 5G capabilities. I love how light the mini is and how it feels in my hand. I really don’t notice any difference in how often I have to recharge as long as I put low power mode on well in advance. Also I can type using one hand again without feeling carpal tunnel. The XR really was a brick! The mini 12 is just plain awesome!! Plus, thinking back to when I upgraded from my 5s, I thought the XR was huge. If the mini was around back then, I think I would have still thought the mini was quite large.

Using my white mini 128 GB for 2 weeks and I love it. I use a fast charger [it's really fast]. ... Came from an XR, so I super appreciate the mini's light weight. Love the OLED display - flawless!

It is my favorite iPhone ever, so tired of phablets. Battery is great for me and it just looks awesome! Love it.

I was so excited when they came out with a mini, I was never going to buy one of the big ones and I needed an upgrade

The size factor is so comfortable on the 12 Mini one-handed & in-pocket, and it just gets better with the Apple wallet added on. I use it essentially as an intermediate device when I don't have access to my iPad Pro 12.9 or MBA. For battery life, I've taken the time to go through all the settings, deciding which apps can run in the background, have access to location, and I've limited to 4G. I've had 9 hours of screen on time on one charge which is more than enough - without ever activating battery saving mode.

I'm using 12 mini for past 2 months and I'm loving it!

I have just bought a Mini to replace my old 6. It’s smaller and lighter with a bigger screen and exactly what I wanted. 24 hours in and very impressed. The only compromise is the battery which is still better than my 6 (which had a replacement battery a while back). It suits my needs and that’s the point.

Hey "JSL Rev". Thanks for sharing. The jacket didn't sound that much. I heard you perfectly fine. Personally i never have had a iPhone-phone, but considering of buying one. Only because finally someone made a small phone again like the 12 mini, and iPhone did it well indeed. My Samsung has a 5.8" screen and overall the phone feels way to big for me. I like to be able to navigate the whole phone with one hand if i have to. If i would buy any iPhone, the 12 mini would be the one for me. I don't play games nor watch movies on phones. Just basic standard things like text, calls, use the net for important stuff and so on. This phone feels absolutely wonderful in my hand, i nice snug fit. And the only reason i haven't bought it yet is the price, i think it's still way-way to high for a simple phone and I'm waiting for the price to go down, allot. (Too much money for a simple phone). Two things bug me with an iPhone (so far), it does not have an external hard drive, i don't like that it has to be plugged into something that starts charging the battery. (This shortens the lifespan of a battery when charging the battery even if it has electricity left in it). Second, it's missing a 3.5" headphone input. I'm forced to buy a "special" bundle to be able to connect my headphones is a smart move to make more money. So far, that's about it. Looking forward for the functions and how it feels to convert from Android to a iPhone. Can iPhone win my heart for the rest of my life, or will i go back to Android again? We'll see, time will tell.

I absolutely LOVE iPhone 12 mini, been using it for a month now. I've been an Android user since 2011 and decided that I need to try iPhone for once. Ended up picking the 12 mini bcs it's the cheapest of the 12 lineup. Best decision I've ever made and no regret whatsoever. The battery is not even that bad as many people say.

I bought it after iPhone 11 and I love it, it's such an awesome clean design and so so handy, it slips in to the pocket so easily, doesn't feel it's there, super cool. You take like 2 days to get accustomed to the screen if you are shifting from 11 or from a bigger screen to 12 mini.
