@@matrouve6599 Chinese have more strokes, while Japanese is more of a simplified Chinese with their own unique characters. Korean characters have more solid straight lines rather than curve lines unlike the two.

too be fair MKBHD's angle on it was you won't notice the difference UNLESS you do a side by side comparison. So is it a huge difference? not really, but its definitely an improvement to some degree

As someone who doesn’t have an iPhone (last one I had was the 4S), I absolutely *love* the “return to form”, they did with shape similar to pre-iPhone 6 compared to post-iPhone 6 design which honestly that fact alone made me consider getting an iPhone next much much much more than I have in multiple years.

I fell in love with the 4-5s line up, but couldn't afford them. Then I could afford them few years later but the rounded design is something I hated. Finally made up my mind on the 12 pro max, purely for the aesthetic of this model. I Just the flat stile and I'm glad they picked it up again, truly a deal sealer for me

Actually if you look at the photos in their videos, they both were honest. Marques's photos didn't really differ from one another. But on Arun's photos there really was a huge difference. Question is, how is that possible?

The thing is, MKBHD is probably way more knowledgeable about professional cameras, so I suppose very few phones (if any) can compare to the quality he's seen in those, which would explain why he always says the cameras on smartphones are just 'good' or 'okay'.

I had the Samsung note 8 for like 4 years. I’m so use to the size, I don’t think I can go back to a smaller phone. But this is the biggest I’ll ever go. I wouldn’t go any bigger than this but I’m loving my new iPhone . I haven’t had an iPhone since the iPhone 6.

Marques is being honest I think Arun also is getting paid and he has biased reviews I think Dave2D and Mrmobile and Marques speak the truth. Like Arun's Oneplus 8T review seemed like an advertisement as he was comparing that phone to the Pixel 5 and he completely bashed the Pixel 5 which is a really good phone.

Thanks, I ordered the Pro Max (Pacific Blue 256) for the same reasons you "assumed" you wanted the 12 Pro Max. I have seen other reviews today that show "literally no difference" in the camera, and as someone that is a semi-retired Photographer, I knew that could not be right. I had the same doubt the size and was struggling to decide between the pro vs pro max...... The camera, the battery and the size where the USP......finally decided and bought the 12 pro max, never been so much happy with a decision in my life. This is a beast.

Phenomenal review and explanation of the Max. I think the biggest miss though is on the zoom. The 2.5x vs the 2 is HUGE as it gives you a far better portrait equivalent. Other than that, I completely agree with all you said. Cheers mate!

Considering how Apple sells over 200 million iPhone units per year/generation, it must be a happy little accident that the 20w USB-C charger conveniently needed to fast charge @ 20 watts on the iPhone 12 is both in Apple stores and online. (COUGH, COUGH, $20 x 200 million 🤑)
