iPhone 12 vs Google Pixel 5 Speed Test let’s go!

I think the main conclusions to be drawn here are: 1) Being “faster” is more about UI and optimization than geekbench scores. 2) The *actual* speed differences in real life usage are *way* too small to notice, unless you constantly switch between resource-intensive games all day.

For the price you can't really complain about the pixel, works well and for most people won't be an issue at all. Top video as always 👍

The battery life on the Pixel 5 is AMAZING. And for my uses it was more than fast enough.

This just proves you don't need a flagship processor for your regular daily activities. The Pixel 5 was dominating except for gaming.

Love my Pixel 5. The only difference in performance I see is Radarscope and Marco Polo, both of which I use extensively -- my iPhone 12 handles them so much more smoothly. Overall I just love the Android experience better including the notifications at the top, the always on display, and the Google Home options from the power button. I'm so excited for the upcoming Pixel 6 pro.

This video goes to show that it doesn’t matter how powerful the chip is in everyday activity. Optimisation is way way way more important. Apple relies every year on big benchmark figures. For me this is to blinker people into thinking iPhones are superior! This video clearly provides evidence that this isn’t the case. Remember that the A14 Bionic is probably 4/4 times more powerful on paper! But that’s where it ends! On paper it’s not equated into real life. So what if you get a few more frames per second or it plays more intensive games. Anyone who uses their phone to play lots of games probably has a condole anyway. This video also shows that Google absolutely smash apple with software optimisation yet apple always gets the better press on how much better iOS is than android! And this has just been proven to be false. I’ve just pre pre predetermined the pixel 6 pro, I can’t wait to see how it goes against my iPhone 13 pro max. I have a sneaky feeling it’s going to smash it everywhere other than on benchmarks. But like I say who cares about those! Well done Google you are still the software king.

It is insane that the pixel 5 with a much weaker chip got as close as it did to iPhones speed, and even opened a lot of apps quicker! Specs are not everything folks! Save $300 and go with a pixel 5.
