I just got mine for Walmart I love it is very protective. Comes with a holster and it’s very slim slips in and out of pocket easily. I love it.

Tech 21 EVOMAX has a lens protector slide built in. I’ve dropped it, has done its job. Reminds of OtterBox similarities

Does that high gloss frame around the lenses create lens flare from reflected light entering the camera lenses. I would prefer a matte flat non-reflective finish near the lenses.

I have the Apple MagSafe puck and I can not get it to work through the case. Video shows it working but nothing happens for me.

Shoot you not I just dropped my iPhone 13 wearing this case that I bought from a mall. THE THING IS I live 8 stories up. Just chillen on my balcony and I fumbled my phone and it bounced off the ground through the RAILINGS! I was listening to some Lincoln park and I could just hear it fading away as it fell then the big SMACK on the concrete sidewalk below. Sucks no one was below to get hit… jk lol. So I was like 👁👄👁. Anyway my wife and I run to the elevator walk around the building below to where it fell. The case was by itself its layers spread apart and my iPhone was laying upside down in grass NO cracks on the back. I flipped it over and no FREAKING CRACKS AT ALL! Thank god. This case for me 11/10. I don’t care at all what y’all say about the holster lmao it just saved my stupid self from lots of money lost. And the best part the only damage is a little knicks in the metal surrounding of phone and the case survived too! Just a bigger Knick on that.

MagSafe is hit or miss. The first day, it recognized the MagSafe puck when I placed my iPhone 13 pro on it. The next day, I had to move the phone a little around to find the sweet spot. The 3rd day, nope, didn’t recognize/connect to the MagSafe until I took the rubber outer case off. Defeats the purpose of just laying the phone down on the puck if you have to take the outer rubber part off. I did notice that if I took the outer case off, set the iPhone on the MagSafe puck, then pulled the puck off, & then put the outer case back on, it did recognize the MagSafe puck. Again, defeats the convenience of having the MagSafe for charging. The next complaint I have is the lack of a screen protector included. I kept my iPhone 6s in an otter box defender for the time I had that phone, & was glad to have that screen protection. The screen protection for the 13 pro is a separate piece that is very prone to misalignment & air bubbles, so I’m just going to go without. Otherwise, it is a solid case that won’t squirt out of your hand because it’s too slippery.

I been using this case for 2 years and it is great. I dropped my phone off ladders, roofs, and many other things and it is still in new condition. I do put a screen protector on, it has peeled up a little over the years, but I don't care, I am not on my phone 24/7, it's for business. I am not a phone junkie, so it don't bother me

Just wish they did something about the back of it when I have a pop socket on mine, the silicone part will lift when I hold it by the pop socket. Anyone recommend this?

This case is great, I’ve only ever used otterboxs for my phones. I picked this case out because for one, the whole outside of this case is rubber, which provides a good amount of grip all around, the anti-microbial properties, the holster and of course, the otterbox reputation for drop and all around protection. My biggest complaint about this case, is that the rubber case cover overtime, stretches out. Currently my top right corner doesn’t fit snuggly over the plastic case itself on the front or on the back around the camera cutout, and when I grab my phone from the sides, you can see the rubber on the back sticking up, like an air bubble is trapped underneath. It’s only truly a matter of time before the rubber stretches out enough that it doesn’t stay on the plastic parts at all. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fantastic case, but I do not see the rubber cover lasting long if you put it in a clamp holder for your car, or you put it in your pocket a lot. I would honestly opt for the Defender XT, or the Commuter series because the rubber made for those cases is a little bit.. better formed and made stronger per se, so it is less likely to stretch out like the Defender Pro.

why is nobody talking about the size of the case it dose not surround the phone the same as the older ones i got this case for protection and its super slimmed down compared to older versions of the same type case like even with the camera they couldnt raise the rige higer to protect the camera, the hard plastic that cases it in is to thin not at all beefy like the 10xr defender case

@5:46 - You would think that Otterbox may just use an opening the size of the speaker, but no... They look like they are using the cutouts for an iphone 12. The 13 Pro Max has the same size speakers on both sides and they are fabulous this year. Blocking a speaker grill is a lack of attention to detail that prevents me from spending money on this case. I 3D printed a case in TPU that is tough as nails and I can print a new one any time.

I have learned I dont like cases that have plastic next to the phone because it scuffs the phone. Ruined the paint on one phone I had. I now use cases with rubber against the phone. UAG has been a good one.

I like to use magnets on the back of my phone cases, but I’m wondering if it would be better to put the on the back of the hard plastic protector or on the inside of the rubber part that protects the hard plastic. Because I know if I put them on the outside of the rubber it won’t stick to it 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

I like the look and feel of otterbox cases. However I find that they don’t last as long as other cases. The rubber material stretches and falls apart. I have had this problem with any of my otterboxes I have own for tablets or phones.

I have used otter box pro for every phone when they started this pro shit only problem is that dust, sand, and dirt all get inside by the power and volume I think from around the camera but everytime I take my iPhone 12 out there’s sand and dust

I’ve been using Otterboxes since the iPhone 5s days. They have slimed them out over the years, and they are pretty expensive. I got mine on rollback at Walmart for like $44, in the basic black. I’ve been dailying it and it’s pretty nice. Do wish it was MagSafe, but you can’t have everything

I FUCKING LOVE THIS CASE. Makes the phone feel premium, easy to hold, and way better than the iPhone case.

I had this one for my 13 mini, which i later upgraded to a 13 pro max. it creaked and it was annoying to install and remove frequently, its protective but felt cheap the way it flexed and creaked. I got a commuter for my 13 pro max,it feels more protective and way less cheap and tacky. I much prefer the commuter.

I bought this and used it for like 4 months and i notice that after some time, the rubber exterior part starts to stretch at the camera lenses area and it’ll get loose. So its not gonna be tight solid but abit wobbly.. 🙏🏼

That flap on the charging port is too stiff, It kinda puts pressure on the headphones or wire charger

I have a regular defender but I like the look of the pro more. Otterbox defenders are great for drop protection but I wish it did more in the way of dust proof. I dislike built in screen protectors because dust gets underneath them and over time you can hardly see your screen. I just wish defenders came with better sealed port protection and mesh over the speaker grills. I use mine basically just for drop protection knowing my phone is going to have cosmetic damage on the inside, doesn’t bother me too much it’s just a phone.

You didn't talk about the fact that the Holster sucks. no matter how I put my iphone in it, it falls off all the time. Getting out of the car falls off. Walking it falls off. I found it less likely to falls if the screen out, but it still falls off. Otterbox has yet to fix this and if I need a new case I will look for something better, I am ashamed of Otterbox for not fixing this issue.

When it comes to smart phones and phone cases and the protection and all that I feel like I’ve been living underneath of a rock since about 2010…. But why is OtterBox no longer including the screen protector in the case I feel like the older models of OtterBox and life proof offered complete all around protection of the phone and now with all these new models eliminating the screen protector it seems a bit sketchy to purchase a case that 99% protects your phone.

How grippy is it on flat surfaces? I'm coming from a 1st gen SE with a Cygnett Workmate and the killer feature for me is the little rubber feet on the back that means my phone doesn't slide about on the table when pushed. Great for resting your phone on your leg knowing it isn't going anywhere. The rubber on my old case is super soft and grippy but this one looks quite firm. Does this case perform the same way?

I have this case for my iPhone 13 and while I think it’s extremely protective, I’m a little concerned it could trap heat. Will the defender pro potentially prevent the iPhone 13 from dissipating heat properly? I have found mixed opinions on this issue.
