But Apple still didn't fix the volume button issue between controlling the ringtone volume and the wake up alarm sound. When the iPhone is locked you can not use the volume button up or down. You still have to log in. Only then you can control the volume of the incoming call or from the alarm clock. That s*cks. You should have the option to controle the volume for these apps when the phone is locked. Even better: there should be two possibilities. One to, let's say, the tone of incoming calls loud. And the one from the alarm clock low. - Why? Well simply because by the day there are more noises and your ears are used to the surrounding sounds. So a louder volume on locked a phone for incoming calls would be logical. Therefore, if you wake up, your ears aren't used to loud noises. So a low volume would do. Getting into you phone by unlocking it first is just so annoying.

i looked at the ios 16 to 15 downgrade video and apple just stopped signing the ios 15 software updates so is there any way we can downgrade now or are we just stuck with the phone how it is? the only signed firmware is ios 16

My 14 Pro arrived yesterday, I haven’t set it up yet but I’m thankful for this video. Some things I knew already and obviously can be applied to any Face ID iPhone but it’s nice to be reminded of the capabilities of our devices

I’ve got the 14 pro and I’m glad mine came with 16.2 downloaded already, it’s taking me a bit to get used to the island since the last iPhone I had was an iPhone 12 but I’m loving it so far

The swipe option is buggy for me when I try to change the style of my lock screen photo, when I go to customize and then try to swipe left or right to select a different style like black&white, studio light or one of the others available it doesnt work most of the times, I have to click on the small dots at the bottom to select the style I want. Very annoying. Same problem on my old 12 pro max and on my new 14 pro max, im guessing it's a bug in ios 16.0

I dont like the add to library only, I use folders where I group apps in different folders like socials, various, music, TV apps etc. - I like to manage all that myself so I know where the apps are, with app library you dont always know what group it puts the app in. I know you can search for it there or by using spotlight search but I just like the other way better.

@@Dma118 True but I dont like the app library, and having to swipe all the time to get to the app library is annoying, I only have 2 home screens so its not that much, and I have most apps grouped in custom folders, I find it much easier that way and like this look better :)

Tiny correction. You don’t wear a mask during the with mask Face ID setup. It specifically said it on the screen you declined it on. It just scans you face additional time(s) (if you wear glasses it will make you do another without glasses).

Is the always on a good clock to use all night? Will it stay on all night and not be too bright, but bright enough to see? I use calculator from swipe from the left, I use it a fair amount...

It’s too bright for me personally, I had to switch ‘Always on’ off for this reason as I charge my phone on a stand and it was lighting the whole room up.

Absolutely. Battery life on Apple Watch has been pretty bad on OS 9 too. Also have a weird thing with messages on Apple Watch not being synced correctly with iPhone after getting my 14 Pro Max.

There should be a separate app from Apple to add the Always On display to the 14+ I’m pretty sure I can do it. It’s got an OLED screen. I don’t see how I couldn’t. Maybe there’s a separate app that is like always on display but they should add it for sure to the 14+ if not, hopefully the 15+ In 2023 this year

i switched from android to iphone and the most notable difference is the haptics. i freaking love the haptics and the little effects like when you allow an app to download with the double press of the power button and then it vibrates a little and makes that chime thats awesome
