I have seen this memory issue with the hall over 265 MB of memory being an issue since the iPhone 7 and I had an iPhone 7 with that I have memory and it gave me that type of issue so the fact that Apple is having bad trouble with the iPhone 14 seven generations later, means that when under the radar in my opinion for nearly or possibly 13 generations

Went from an 11 Pro I had had since new which was on its last legs, to a 14 pro a week ago and have no regrets. Haven’t found any issues yet either and I’m pretty good at sniffing out bugs.

14 pro max here, switched from N10+ had no issues at all. I mean aside from certain IOS updates causing battery issues (now fixed with the latest update) no problems whatsoever.

Hi Dan 😊 I can’t say I’ve had any of the issues you mentioned on my 14 Pro Max, only issue I’m having is, I’ve chosen the Calendar, weather, battery app on my always on display, weather works fine, battery works fine, however, calendar does not show my notifications on the always on display, I’ve been through every single setting and cannot find out why, I can’t find any reason for this, it’s only a mild annoyance as they’re showing fine on the phones front screen.🤷♀️ ❤xx

The storage issue is an old one. I even had it in my iPhone XR back while running iOS 15. It happens whenever there is a disconnection of Apple account on the phone due to password change or restoring from a backup or otherwise. The way I could fix it was to start the reset process but cancel it in midway when it starts to take the backup. So actually cancelling the reset process , and do this repeatedly for 2-3 times. That somehow cleans up the system occupied storage. However Apple support suggested me to reset the device completely, which I did not follow.

Not at all. Took the 14 Pro all over Europe and Australia, New Zealand last three weeks with no issues. E-sim plans worked perfectly.

@@stuartcollins9988 I live part time in Greece. Esims are not for pay as you go, they are only for contracts. Great if some countries provide prepaid esims, but not all countries have caught onto it.

@@zoey8430 E-sim will become the norm as Apple influences the industry. You may skip the first few generations of E-sim-only phones as more countries integrate the technology into their services. Anything Apple removed or replaced, others and even their competitors followed suit, such as no headphone jack, Touch ID to Face ID, and most recently, no charging brick included in the packaging, which Samsung initially made fun of and then immediately copied.

@@Mangolite of course at SOME point it will be, but until all are on it, it’s a flaw in my book. And for the people that travel there and MANY other countries not using ESims for non-contract monthly plans, it’s a hassle.

I just got the AirPods Pro 2 today, and there are lots of bugs with Find My, and the case sound toggle is greyed out, says it's on but it doesn't work. I have the latest production version for all my devices.

iPhone 14 Pro owner here in South Africa. Had to wait 2-3 weeks for my order, but right after buying it and receiving it in the second week, wait times shifted to 7-8 weeks. Coming from an Xr, I never experienced any issues!

I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max, no issues so far. I did turn off crash detection, “Hey Siri” and the always on display as soon as I activated it. My battery lasts about 2 days and I’m happy with it.

My battery lasts a lot if I also turn Airplane mode and turn off auto brightness and set the device to dark mode

I turned off aod because it’s annoying and nothing else. Extremely heavy use (16 hours screen on time) and it lasts me a full day without charge. When I use my phone like an average person, it lasts days

My 14 Pm has been mostly ok , the odd software bug ( hopefully 16.1 has fixed it , but at times i would have the pill/island ......as well as the previous models notch at the top of the screen as well lol , prior to 16.1 i would give the phone restart when this occurred and it would go back to normal for some time . Touch wood it seems ok now .

Glad you have been talking about the storage bug. All apps in storage section are taking humongous space butnin actual they size very low. I exported my entire gallery which is taking 46gb in iPhone but in reality it's just 19.8gb data in pc.

I (14m) need some advice from anyone, I'm not from the US so prices in my country are a lot higher than in there, I'm an android user planning to buy my first apple product, and I'm wondering whether to buy a base model iPhone 14 pro(which right now is at ($1499) or an also base model m1 macbook Air which is near that price range ($1399). For more context, my parents (especifically my mom) are willing to buy me something expensive since it'll be my 15th birthday soon, I have no personal computer and have a family computer which is pretty slow and I hate using because of that, and I also have a mid-lower end phone which is starting to lag behind, but it still works kind of fine so, which will be worth it more?

The solution for the storage issue is to wait for 72 hours because iOS dumping that uncategorized or unnecessary system files within 72 hours. (This is information disclosed by AppleCare senior advisor) and it is not iOS 16 specific. Force restarting device might reduce that time or you can see temporary reduction right after restart but at that time iOS is actually recalculating files. Also I don't remember the source but there was a workaround that might resolve this issue. Open up Notes App, it doesn't matter which note you tapped on or stay on notes home page, lock the screen and leave it over the night. Just give it a go, it might work.

update: they refunded the transaction and reordered a new one. looks like it was damaged during assembly since the gorilla glass shouldn't be easily broken without substantial and noticeable impact.

Listen I’m gonna be honest coming from a ip6ps. Yup 7yrs an I only upgraded b/c screen died an lack of iOS support. To be fair did I see improvements yes but not a lot . Cameras ☑️battery☑️screen☑️ the improvements are incremental. My point is if you are coming from a iPhone 12 I would wait for the 15 . Hope that helps ✌️
