Why make a device thaat needs all those external stuff to be protected ? With that price! I mean make it stirdy enough or bring with it all those items if they're absoloutely necessary..

I always fully protect my phone I don't mind at all.

Sand/grit in your pockets are usually the cause of those mystery scratches.

I use neither a case nor screen protector on my 14 Pro just because I like to feel the premium product made of genuinely crafted materials in my hand. Ever seen anyone wrapping their Rolex in a cheap piece of platic?

Big deal, just ignore it. You can't actually see it when using the phone only when it's lock and you shine bright light on it. People pay way too much attention at looking how the phones durability is instead of actually using the phone. A phone is meant to be used, not to look at it as if its on a model show😅 it will have its wear and tear over time. i have tons of scratches and i couldn't care less just don't drop it and don't be clumsy. People always say " i don't know how it got there, it just got there and i was doing nothing " REALLY?? smh

I don’t like adding extra bulk to my phone but I hate scratches even more. So tempered glass and a dbrand skin for me as soon as it comes out of the box.

I literally just removed my glass protector from my 14 pro max and the screen looks incredible… I missed the feeling. But i feel so vulnerable, will get a new one tomorrow

think about it: if they tell you, you don’t need a screen protector.. you get surface scratches, which eventually makes you want A NEW PHONE… and they just sold you, your next expensive phone… CHA-CHING !!!!

I went the first 4months w/o a screen protector and got 2 small scratches like that out of nowhere. Installed a matte one. Hated it. Got gloss a month later. Love it

Putting a screen protector or a ugly rubber case on a beautifuly design Iphone it's like driving a Lamborghini wrapped in a condom.

this is due to the new Ceramic Shield. It has stronger drop protection but LESS scratch resistance

this is what happened with my 11 pro, i did have a glass protector on but the face id and camera area was exposed when i had a deep scratch next to the face id sensor. that's why I'm glad with the 14 series, spigen's ez fit glass covers the entire display including the dynamic island

I just paid $1500+ for my 14 pro max and Best Buy put my screen protector on crooked?! And did not wipe it off first..I’m so mad. will be bringing it back since I also paid them to put it on correctly.

I bought son iPhone 14 for Xmas bought otter box case and expensive screen protector from Best Buy. Thought I had it covered but nope it had a cut out around the front camera area and he sat it facedown in baseball dugout

Sometimes if i break my screen protector and i order another, i take off my screen protector and just use it raw. But i never use my phone bear if i dont have a screen protector i have a case if i dont have a case ill have a screen protector

I feel like the iPhone 14s scratch way more easily than any other model I’ve ever had for some reason. I had the 11 Pro for like 3 years with no case or screen protector and it looked fine. My iPhone 14 Pro has micro scratches on all the sides. 😒😑

I love your honest review. I agree with u. I’m using the Xdoria Fridge case. I always have a case on. I don’t like the feeling of the naked phone on my hand. It is too smooth. Might slip out of my hand. I always will get a case but I love a snug tight fitted solid hard drop proof case. But I don’t use tampered glass screen protector. The problem is that when I put in the case, it will squeeze the screen protector and make it comes out bubbles. I got very angry and annoyed seeing those stupid bubbles so I took out the screen protector. The one thing that I hate to see in a screen protector and I told myself never to use screen protector anymore. Because it is not compatible to my case. Certain case won’t make the screen protector comes out bubbles but there are some that will make the screen protector comes out bubbles. Not all screen protectors are compatible to all cases. So it’s a headache to find something that is compatible to both. So I told myself that I don’t care anymore in getting a screen protector!! It’s so annoying to see the bubbles forming out of the tampered glass itself! Waste of my time and money getting all these tampered glass screen protectors and in the end, after putting on the case, the bubbles starts to forming from the tampered glass screen protector. But so far I didn’t get any scratches from my iPhone 14 Pro that I’m using now. I changed iPhones every year when they came out their latest model on every year September. I’ve been using iPhones since their first 3GS. So since I’m changing iPhones yearly so I don’t care much if the screen had it’s scratches or not. Because I’m not permanently going to use my iPhone anyway. But so far I didn’t get any scratches from my screen even without any tampered glass screen protector though…..
