Nope. M series is specialized for larger devices. If apple had to, they would rename it but won't put an m chip directly on phones

The iPad is smoother as ProMotion works differently on both devices. 120Hz is forced on the iPad, whereas the iPhone stays mostly at 90.

Yep, I have the same devices and much prefer using my iPad Pro 11 over the 14 Pro Max, even the official Reddit app known to be really stuttery and janky on all phones even Android, is an absolute dream on my iPad, so buttery smooth when scrolling, I just wish the phones were the same.

Sadly, S8 Ultra has a considerably slower chip than the S23 Ultra.

@@freepin4013 yeah but it’s the other way round this time- m2 is the latest series of desktop-processors from Apple, and so is A16 the latest for mobile-chipset from Apple. Whereas 8 Gen. 2 in S23 Ultra is the latest, and the S8 ultra has an older flagship chipset. I meant to say S8 Ultra will not be able to win against S23 Ultra, unlike iPad Pro.

I have noticed a lot of things using both these devices. When you screen-record on the iPhone, do some scrolling and stuff, and after ending it you go to the ‘details’ in photos app- the fps is below 60 mostly, whereas iPad pro has a higher range in scrolling (with only occasional 120fps touches). I think Apple uses 120fps only for gaming, rest of the time they don’t even utilise the time.

@@DrAlyElashry this was for battery. This is one of the many reasons why ip13pm and 14last longer than samsungs. 15pm/15u will have larger battery and will destroy the s23u/s24u

@@DrAlyElashry i don’t think so it’s possible to do the very same tasks on both the phones for 10 hours straight. It needs a real benchmark, i mean go check the videos, iphone lasts 20 minutes longer in each of them.

I bought the iPad Pro 12.9 and the iPhone 14 pro max. Honestly, although I don’t regret buying the iPad Pro 12.9, as the enormous display makes for great gaming and video watching when I’m at home, I feel as though the 11 inch could have been better for the portability. In an ideal world, I would have both but it is by no means worth all of that money

I almost traded it in when I purchased my 12.9 but I’m so glad I didn’t, it doesn’t have the latest specs obviously but it still has a nice screen and does mostly what I want to do.

please close all of the apps before you do a benchmark, it makes a huge difference, like the benchmark says your ipad pro 11 is worse than the other 70% of ipad pro 11 users wich is not right at all and may lead to false benchmark results.

Don’t worry this ipad is the third fastest device on 3d mark that’s why it’s saying that and when you test the iPad when it’s cold then the scores will increase. When I tested my iPad in 3d mark it showed that your device is better than 99% of devices

@@Ahmad.Mujtaba.Marzi. The A16 is faster than SD gen 2 which is about equal to the A15, look at Geekbench 6 results. The M2 is a lot faster than both which is to be expected since it's a much bigger chip with higher power consumption.
