It's already happening. Nearby share now works on Windows, and most basic android functions, like calling and texting can be done via a connected Windows pc

No,i switched from iphone to pixel this year,and it has bugs and lags that i havent seen since 2013,go back to iphone!androind cant compare to iphone

To Give iPhone a tie with Pixel in terms of photography is an absolute crime, you're correct, this guy is heavily biased. iPhone wasn't even close to Pixel in the blind test whether you take standard or low light shots I was shocked to see him give it a draw, he's either a fanboy or hasn't done his research thoroughly.

I've been using a 6 pro for two years now and it's been absolutely incredible and reliable. People tend to forget what the software updates bring, and the updates are regular. So while they might have been a bit buggy on day one, a few days in once the software figures out how you like to use the phone, they're brilliant@@teamtoken

Yeah, iPhone came in 8th place in MKBHD blind camera comparison and pixel came in 1st and 2nd. I don't know why the KZfaqr in the video gave it a draw even though I'm terms of photography and photo realism, Pixel just smashes the competition

Yeah. This is my problem. I dont have a macbook so transferring files from my iphone to my laptop is a headache. It just gets cut off in the middle of transferring photos.

It’s refreshing to have a battery that feels it was supposed to be on a MacBook Air, even if the size compared to my last one makes it feel like an iPad mini😂 I may get used to it, but I knew I wasn’t going to give  over $1000 for one of the 15 Pros (there are heavily rumoured price increases for those phones)

Exactly. I have pixel 7 pro, pixel buds pro, pixel watch , now the pixel tablet and Google homes. Google has come a long way in that regard. We also have nearby share which is basically air drop for Google. Reviewer can't fault the pixel for not being a part of apples eco system

Is it really? I went from iphone12 and apple watch, air pods pro to pixel 7 etc. Loved my iPhone etc. But thought I'd give google/pixel devices a try. So far I'm hating it. Had a few phone crashes and battery to me is terrible compared to apple devices. Also I'm just not getting into the pixel watch. The bezel is huge and overall not a great user experience. I'll most likely switch back to apple and try pixels again after a few more generations.

Here's how I look at it. The pixel is a cheaper phone and this phone is built as good as an iPhone. With way more features without the proprietary features of apple. Apple is huge for marketing and they money grab on a alot of there products. I had pixel 6 pro running the android 14 beta and was running great until I cracked screen on phone. Decide to get the pixel 7 pro and I'm running the 14 beta and it is rtunning beautifully. Google is getting better with there phones every year. And I had Samsung before pixels and I don't plan on going back

I remember when I first got my 12 Pro Max, that phone lasted me literally four full days even with semi heavy usage, but of course over two years later it'll last me a full day if I don't put heavy usage on it, but if I'm really putting use to it, it'll last half a day. I am waiting for the 15 to be unveiled before I upgrade because if it do, it might as well be the 'newest' release 🤣

try going hard on it. all your things, do it on the 14 pro. It goes down very fast for me. On my Pixel 7 Pro, it can last literally 22~ hours

@@nevek895 going hard is extremely subjective with these though, I love android and I own a pixel 7 pro myself but I wont lie to myself and say that the pixel 7 pro has really good battery life because it doesn't. to today's standards the pixel 7 pro is below average, big ups apple but I still don't see myself switching until you lot pull out something huge

That is a painful experience @Phloored. Outside of the camera systems, Google does a lot of cost cutting on Pixel devices to keep the prices down for sure. Quality wise, they are not on the same level as the IPhone 14 Pro Max or S23 Ultra.

my experience was extremely buggy and glitchy when i got the pixel 6 pro at launch 2 years ago. I also kept hoping that updates would come and work out the kinks to make the pixel run smoother. It never happened. Instead I kept seeing new bugs and issues popup lol. Now I'm ready to switch to iphone for the first time.

Really? I'm a long time iPhone user, up to 12. Then I switched to the reg pixel 7 and it's crashed on me 3 times already. The clock app crashed, had to clear cache and also camera app crashed. I've never had these crashes on iPhone. Also for some reason I'm noticing lag as well.

Yeah I'm sorry to hear that. I've had dumb shit happen with my pixel watch and phone. But they are electronics ya know they will have fails here and there. My wife's iphone has crashes too . But on average they work perfectly and idk it's just me I'd stick with the pixel I just really like it ya know.

@@12washere Hmm I'm surprised to hear that. Understand your concern about the EOL dates. But on Pixels you only get 3 years of software updates. With apple you get more than 3 years, but if you are concerned then just buy Apple devices assuming they have 3 year of software updates from their release date. There isn't any Apple phone that has less than 3 years of software updates. For example you are talking about iPhone 11. That was released in 2019. For comparison, that is like buying a Pixel 4, which was also released in 2019 and is no longer supported.

@@the3gamingnerds458 ye definitely stick with what you like. For me I'm not fancy with the phone and the UI on both makes no difference to me. Currently the number 1 priority for me is reliability. I don't want to have my alarm malfunction again and not go off. 😅 Also another topic, I'm a bit confused with people saying Android is customisable. I don't have the option to change the wallet and Google Home shortcuts on my Lock Screen. I also cannot move the At a glance (top) and Google search bar (bottom) of my Home Screen to a different location. That is so annoying that the "At a glance" took out like 2 rows of app space.

I have a pixel 7 pro for me the screen on time is 8 hours with moderate to heavy use. It is an all day phone. It all depends upon the usage

@@devangT well knowing the pixel, it’s varying experience. Most people are getting around 5-6 SOT, you have a rare experience. The battery seems to be the main complaint from most people

@@devangT I mostly use my Pixel for navigation and music streaming, I literally only would get 4.5 hrs TOPS. Switched from Android (all of them) to the 13 Pro Max because of battery life. Android phones in generally could do better with battery life.

Battery life on my 7 Pro is crap, I have to charge it twice a day

Not to mention the pixel's cameras actually look like part of the phone. The iphone's look like they were glued onto the back after production. xD

I’m over Apple but it is so hard to get away from the ecosystem. At least Apple Music can be had on android now and with RCS messaging iMessage isn’t a reason to keep an iPhone anymore. I refuse to get a 14 pro because of the E sim nonsense. I like the ability to pull my sim and put it in my backup phone if needed.

​@@somnia3423 I'd recently delved into the apple ecosystem once I was intrigued by the MacBook Air (M2 chip). At that time I owned several of the top android phones (Galaxy S22 Ultra, Xiaomi Fold2, and Huawei XS2). I was adamant about Android being how customizable and easy it was to work with and the tech is top notch. Even the S22 Ultra's camera is better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max! The MacBook did it for me. That thing is a technological MARVEL. It's super light and it replaced my noisy 64Gb RAM workhorse of a laptop (desktop replacement XPS). With a measly 16GB of ram on that super thin and light MacBook, it crushes the XPS with NO FAN. At that point I got the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Might as well so they can communicate together. AND THEY DO because of the extra chip in apple devices that makes it so they can transfer and sync with each other seamlessly. That's where the domino began. I then got onto iCloud which is AMAZING as a backup for files and photo organization! It even has a feature where it saves device space by making the stuff you don't access only in the clouds and not on your devices. And the iCloud syncs on all your apple devices. THEN I got the AirPods which transfers easily with all the devices. Whatever device I play, that's where the AirPods goes. AND it has Findme. THEN I got the Apple TV and two HomePods which sounds incredible. And even more incredible is my AirPods connect with the Apple TV and the surround sound in the AirPods I was shocked how good it was. You'd turn your head and it's like the sound is still coming from the TV. THEN I got the iPad mini 6 which is the perfect size to consume content and use the Apple Pencil which I use a lot. I've owned the S22 Ultras and Notes and maybe used their pen twice in the last 5 years. The apple ecosystem is utterly convenient and incredible and even though I ABSOLUTELY LOVE foldables, there's no way I'd leave the ecosystem for it and I'd rather wait for apple to make one. The apple ecosystem is TOO convenient and everything just works seamless.

I've had work iPhones for 5 years as my main devices during the day. I find the UI old fashioned and restrictive. Battery is excellent - a strength area. The rest of the phone is no better than Android and usually worse. Androids ecosystem is not far off and simply has more freedom which I value
