Not really though. Maybe Call Of Duty Warzone will require a solid chipset to run constantly at 60 frames per second. But, it's not required to have a 1000+ phone for most games in the App Store/Play Store.

I had a 14 pro Max, brought the phone to Apple store as online Apple care suggested, online Apple care and the Apple store tech said there's nothing wrong with the phone after doing software and hardware diagnostics, but neither one was able to get WIFI calling to work; Apple was a big fail, got rid of phone

I've noticed over the years with the more features they add, iPhones seem to be getting a bit more buggy and less stable. So the Apple is bug free is no longer a very great argument when comparing to new Android

Color temperature is a personal preference. And tbh I never liked the display on my iPhone 13. Couldn't get it to look right even after messing around with the screen settings, definitely prefer other OLED screens

Nothing phone has the brighter display with 1600 nits while iPhone has 1200 nits it's just default colour temperature which is warmer in iPhone and standard in Nothing phone 2...but you can adjust it in settings..... speaking from my personal experience I have NP 2 and it's brighter than iPhone

Yeah, chip doesn't matter as much in multitasking as RAM and RAM management. That has 12GB RAM as far as I'm aware so they really need to work on the management, that's pretty embarrassing for them that all the apps reloaded despite having double the RAM

Pretty sure it's an Adreno GPU that comes with the SD 8+ Gen 1, so it should be really solid

@@gockartzz8272 Hmm interesting. I haven't looked much into the Nothing Phone 2 but I bet it's plenty capable for most people's wants, even pretty heavy gaming. But if it's doing poorly on benchmarks compared to other phones with 8+G1, I'm not sure what's causing that. Maybe poor cooling?

The 14 and 14 Plus have last year's chip because Apple is running out of things to take away on their base models. So it's pretty close in date

@@ratrodgrady yes but A16 is the latest chip by Apple while SD has 8 Gen 2 as the latest version so technically 8+ Gen 1 is one generation old.

@@ads7506 True, it's just when companies like Apple maintain prices and keep last year's chip when benefits start to become limited to those who pay more. See, Nothing Phone 2 doesn't have a new chip, but it's significantly cheaper than the iPhone 14 or Galaxy S23 and performs very well. And even to compare the popular expensive 2, the Galaxy S23 has a superior chip to the base 14 and the Plus because Apple is charging the same and giving buyers an inferior chip.
