Welcome to a realistic day in the life with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I flew to Los Angeles for a work shoot and REALLY wanted to put this phone through its paces. I heavily tested the cameras, the battery and documented my 48 hours trip to showcase the real life use of the phone.
Over half of this video was shot using the iPhone 15 Pro Max in ProRES LOG. I used a rec709 conversion lut + color grade to achieve the stylized look as a final result.

I’m a fairly light user and my 15 pro max gets me from 5am to midnight with around 30-40% battery left. The weekends are a bit less forgiving on the battery because I have more time to use my phone but it still gets me through a day with no issues.

what is the version of ios on your phone because I have ios 17.2.1 and the battery is dying as you can see nothing but I do a little tiktok or videos on the phone!

@@dunytheo2739 I haven’t done the 17.2.1 update. I’m on 17.2 and the battery is fine. I’m at 90% right now and unplugged it at 8:40am, it’s 2pm here now. So it’s still great.

Very good video, I have ios 17.2.1 and my battery goes down a lot I find I do a lot of tiktok and some videos on my phone and in 30 minutes of tiktok I lose around 7 or 8 percent is this normal and what ios do you have?? THANKS

Is it more useful to edit on ProRes Log rather than the regular ProRes?

Yes! Log removes a lot of that “phone look” since it’s such a flat color profile. This means you can have full flexibility with color grading and produces a much better looking image if you know how to grade the footage

Hi, I'm in exactly the same position but I'm most likely leaning towards the pro max mainly because I only upgrade every 3-4 years. So the extra features seem worthwhile!

Only when under heavy load, which is typical from any flagship device imo. The bug that caused it in regular use was fixed a few updates ago :)

It's because he was filming on the phone the whole day, the camera app takes a lot of battery. You could probably get through the whole day with still 20 percent left.
