looks like you get frame rate drop on this game too, like in exalted sanctum and scalegorge waterscape. The performance has been pretty bad on this phone.

yeah. at 60FPS highest graphics, it's a mess much like my old iphone 14 plus, especially when it's running warm. the consolation is that the game is still very playable at 30FPS since it's turn based combat unlike genshin. At 30FPS it can run the game at very high graphics quite comfortably. to play 60FPS comfortably, probably have to drop to medium graphics much like on the iPhone 14 Plus. can only hope that metalfx upscaling or whatnot would be coming to HSR as well and that it will work well enough. if I have to drop the graphics to play the game smoothly and comfortably, then the iPhone 14 plus gives pretty much the same experience 🤣

Temperature?
@alexhong43807 ай бұрын
it's not that bad, but it's mostly because Apple usually has a thermal wall that they try not to exceed. for 15 pro max it's around 45 degrees celsius. at that point the phone just throttles the performance. so instead we see fps drops, stutters, like shown in the video. Kinda the same for any older iPhones though like my old iphone 14 plus.

@@alexhong4380 my s20fe 48 degrees in genshin impact with max settings. 40 fps without cooler. 50 fps or more with cooler temperature 42-44 degrees.15 pro max too in this temperature in genshin how my s20fe?

@@franciscoeverson4751 For genshin the 15 Pro Max can maintain 60fps mostly for 15-20 mins for me before it will drop to around around 45 fps to keep phone from overheating. the temperature is around 45 degrees too give or take a bit. But if just drop the graphics down one level, the 15 pro max can maintain 60fps while not feeling too hot. maybe 40+ degrees or so. I don't have the S20 FE hard to compare, but i do have the Note20 which has SD865 chip too and it's definitely no where near as good as the 15 pro max for genshin or star rail. :)
