4:06 if your saying samsung is the worst one here, look at the shadow detail in samsung at the below building. Iphone couldn't pick it up and pixel isn't that bad. And look at the thin sky between the buildings. Samsung looks like pickup the clouds in sky the most there, pixel isnt bad. But iphone somehow looks blownup there.

Samsung's vivid, saturated look makes London look like a Med resort. I can assure you it is rarely as vibrant as that. Great for a sales brochure, but realistic, not really. That makes the iPhone standout in its respect for a natural-looking temperature profile. I would easily choose the iPhone's photos. But that is my personal take; others may prefer the Instagram look? Overall, it was a comfortable win for the iPhone, especially in portrait and video the iPhone still leads. The 10X zoom on the S23U is really the only selling point for Samsung's cameras, but having had S20U, S22U and S23U, I have found I rarely find a use for 10X, and that is why I am a Pixel user now, currently 7 Pro but waiting on 8 Pro. The Pixel struggled too many times in this review, and I expect much better with the 8 Pro. Great review, by the way!

Other thing in General camera, samsung isn't blownup. It just picking up details in shadow area unlike iphone. And as what you said about iphone pictures, you can also lighten up the image. Same as samsung, you can darken the image if you want more saturation.

1:20 samsung isn't blownup here. In fact it is the best in here. The light isn't blownup while being able to pull details in dark shadows. On the other side which is iphone, if you try to light up the image up in iphone, the light will be blownup by alot. In hdr samsung and iphone here are same, samsung isnt blownup. Iphone just crashed the shadow here.

If you are looking for a phone mainly for the camera, the Pixel 7 shoots as well as the PRO in general and costs only ~530 dollars (for a new, not used) and given that the new iPhone standard version now costs ~1100$ the choice is obvious, even when a couple of months pass and the price will fall a little, and about the comparison with Pro Max, which costs even more expensive and there is no point in talking at all 😅 Yes of course the phone is not only the camera. But personally I love Pixel just for the camera, I don't play games and watch movies on my phone because I have a tablet, PC and several consoles.... so the Pixel is the best phone for people like me 🥰

Positioning of camera is different. In 2nd shot, S23 ultra is having least access of metallic dock in picture it means its point of focus must he different that's why it looks that s23 has blown out the exposure. A minute shift in position can make pictures dramatic.

9:25 you definitely could've used the pixel @ 5x for a portrait shot as well. 5x isnt under the portrait setting but it still will take the same photo. Would've been nice to see the comparison of the two as this is the best focal length for portrait shots.

First of all, have you updated the S23 Ultra to it's latest firmware? As S23 Ultra do have 2X Zoom dedicated zoom after the update and is same as what iPhone has done this year.

Pixel 7 pro can also do 5x portrait but we have to apply it in edit after taking pic from 5x telephoto lens which looks as good as iphone 15 pro 5x portrait but with better skin tone.........I hope google will give us the option to use the 5x telephoto lens for taking portrait with a future update

Do you have scene optimizer on on the samsung? You should turn it off which will help with the over saturation. I think then pixel had the best details/color

Reason I keep my pixel is skin tones. I take pictures in Samsung and it looks like I got makeup on. Being darker skin. I love how pixel represents me. Everything else is subjective

Samsung really needs to turn that over sharpening down, and that saturation. It's too much. And they really have to step up their video game, same goes to the Pixel. The iPhone does a good job overall, but the images are a little bit too dark, still crushing those shadows. But all do a pretty good job

I'd do more research. You are fundementally wrong on a couple of your points. 2x is a crop of the main sensor. It's not an optical zoom. I have absolutely no idea how in the first comparison you can say the iPhone is better, the colours and dynamic range is far worse than both other phones yet you choose that. I'm an iPhone user and even I'm not that biased
