As an Android and Ios User, The Samsung is clearly faster shown in this video and Iphone is hair slower but the animations are perfect in Ios u can't argue with that Android goes for fast where Iphone maintains the fastness and smoothness of the phone

The truth is, Samsung is clearly better now. You say iPhone is slightly smoother, but I honestly don’t see that anymore. Samsung is better in almost every way. The apps load instantly now, where iPhone seems a second slower.

Its the consistency not really that noticeable in the speed test. The Samsung when first turning on is pretty choppy. Also some apps have some weird choppy animations on occasion but that is not evident all the time. Samsung has come a very long way and is right there now. Apps do tend to launch faster and generally the Samsung moves at a faster pace.

They’re just gonna trade blows at this point the iPhone 16 will beat the 24 then the 25 will beat that unless something drastic changes. Either way you can’t go wrong both are insanely fast.

@@vikinnorway6725 Yes all phones going back several years are very quick. I’m simply referring to the performance of their latest phones as the 24 is now the fastest but it’s also the newest. Later this year Apple will release the 16 and that will be fastest - and so on. It’s just gonna go back and forth now.

The S24 compete against the iPhone 15, the iPhone 16 will compete against the 25. So no point of saying that the iPhone 16 beat the S24 (even tho, the S24 will probably be better anyway)

Nick there’s some cases in which animations still aren’t optimized in samsung like when you exit an app to see media in Picture in Picture to see it floating. The phone doesn’t do an animation at all and they haven’t fixed it, you should check it out

Animations (and I see it's all about animations these days) are like on 10th place when it comes to things Samsung should solve/improve. Terrible camera software, bloatware, weak vibration, two different processors in devices that are supposed to be the same, unpredictable battery life, display issues, ruining "older" devices with software updates as soon as new one is presented...

Samsung does pack a lot of features and performance into their phones, but the camera design can indeed be a bit hard to distinguish between different models. apple's unique camera design does make their phones instantly recognizable and difficult to replicate.

A big thing I don't like about the android still is the whites. If you look at the site by side the iPhone whites look a lot nicer. There's always this blue hue to Samsung and sort of crystali looking. iPhone screen looks a lot more uniform

Well done Nick for every review. I've been an iPhone user since the 4S, but realistically, Samsung KILLED the iPhone in terms of speed and Samsung is much better, I'm only saying that the iPhone (Apple) is the best only in terms of security and nothing more. Apple only looks at profits, not like in the past when they were customers first, then everything else. iPhone is not better than the Galaxy even in terms of security. All Apple has is a bias and iMessage, which is one of the main reasons Americans don't buy Android phones afaik.

Wont matter cuz the CPU of iphone is more powerful. And most of games are CPU dependant. THE GPU will just render the graphics faster. You cant actually go wrong with other. But iphone just plays games smoother for a small margin

I'm an android user. I see a video where 15 pro max turns on faster, here s24 plus is faster. The point is both are good af. Buy whatever you like you won't regret it anyway. Actually I don't like dynamic island and I don't like this black drop on android phones as well. I wait when these giants build some frontless flagman. It will be the thing I really want. 😅

S24+ is objectively faster in almost everything, pretty impressive. It's a shame a lot of people still see Androids as if they're stuck in 2015. It isn't easy to convince many Apple users that they've gotten better because they're frankly brainwashed to a fixed stereotype about Androids.

All the samsungs have green tint now. The iphone screens have gotten better and samsung has gotten worse and greedy. They dont even have the poppy colors anymore. Just a bland greenish screen with the wrong kind of cool look. Reminds me of those old lights you see flickering at an old laundry place. With the dead flies stuck up there. Thats what samsung screens look like. Not to mention tbey have fake resolutions. They use pentile displays with less blue and red pixels than iphones. Iphones use traditional rgb subpixel oled arrangement. More clear even with the supposed less resolution. There s23 plus looked ridiculous with that fuzzy display.

I have both of those phones...I notice the animations in opening apps on the 15PM are slower, the scrolling is slower too...that's what keeps me going back to the S24+....other than that they're both badazz phones...I have a better signal with the S24+ in my office (which is a metal building and everyone's phones struggle to pick up a cellular signal. The last thing about these two phones, the s24+ is noticeably lighter. You'll notice this when wearing shorts and those phones are in your front pockets...iPhone feels more dense.

Samsung sped up animations, and Apple, by design, has slower animations. You can turn that off on the iPhone, which is super slick. As is the scrolling, it was patented by Apple as a slower scrolling, and Apple warned Samsung not to copy that (Google it), which, after losing >$500m, Samsung did not rip off this time. The cellular strength is correct as the S24+ has the latest X70 modem that was only released this year and is the first 5G-specific modem upgrade. Apple will use that in their 2024 iPhone. Anyone believing one is better than the other is probably only kidding themselves. We are at peak smartphone in a mature market, so differences are down to personal preferences rather than metrics.

Dont know what you are talking about. But despite the animations are faster, it looks choppy to me. Where iphone has both smooth and faster animations and they are well balanced which looks pleasing. Also you can disable animations on iphone to make it faster. Also scrolling looks choppy on samsung. And yeah, ofc samsung gonna have better signal as it has a X75 modem. Iphone 16 will use X75 modem from 2024. Its just now about preference. Whether you want fast or smooth. You cant really go wrong with both of them
