Thank you for another great video. I have a question about a repair I need to make. How do you make a decision to change the (U2) U1700 opposed to changing the Tigress U1401? No voltage consumption and no charge. I am a bit confused on knowing which chip to change. Also, Would a Bad PMIC cause same issue? And would one bad IC chip cause the others to have bad voltages?

This is a great video.. I recently had my iPhone 6 Plus die on me.. I had my screen replaced and the actual screen would become unresponsive at times.. so I asked me buyer and he tells me to rub alcohol on the ribbons. After that it worked well for awhile; moreover, The screen went right back to being unresponsive. At this point I apply wipe the ribbons again.. then the phone cuts off one day and never came back on ever since...

Did you really took off that screen without disconnecting the battery? 😱

Hello, just want to ask I have iPhone 6s, start charging the phone 60-70% suddenly off, try to change the battery I notice if I install the battery drain the voltage is 0. I try to check to computer using 3utools when I connect the phone vibrate but no reading, phone dead. I have another iPhone 6s also I think same proble no power,not charging, Then also may friend phone iPhone 6s suddenly drop cannot turn on, charging also, same checking battery, direct charge then connect suddenly drain to 0v. All same problem do you think u2 ic. Can you Help me its my first time. May Wife phone. And other friend phone. Please advice me what to check and change. Thanks for answering.

Overall a good video. I can see that you have done this a lot. Camera could be secured just a little more. The motion of it annoyed me some. You did not mention or show that you pulled a capacitor off the board. Happens a lot so why try to hide it?

Hey I have an iPhone 6 and I just got a new battery and new screen replacement. I was watching the guy do everything for me and the phone was dead and he was charging it perfectly fine til it hit about 5% to show me the screen works. I got my iPhone 6 Plus customized by a shop where they change the color of your iPhone by changing the back frame to a different color and they took out evertything from my phone like logic board and all that and switched it to the new frame, the phone was working fine for 2 months and then randomly it started to start acting up like I would use it for 10mins and then it turns off, works for 10mins and then turns off again over and over, the battery was brand new so it couldn't be that and I checked the display and all the cables were tight so can you tell me what the problem is because the phone turns on for 1 second and then turns off but the screen is still on, it just doesn't boot anymore!

I have an issue with my iphone 6 plus, is runing good when I charge the baterry but out the motherboard with a tester of batteries, but when I connect the usb cable to charge the phone normally is not charging and in the screen of the iphone I couldn't see any simbole of charging phone, I test the flex usb charging and it's working good, because it arrives 5.1 V to the flex cable but when i conect the flex cable with the motherboard of my iphone 6plus the V that arrives to the battery is 0.24v wich chip has the issue?, I oppened the motherboard and I see all the chips but i couldn't recognize the issue chip of all them, so can you help me please?

Hi this video is amazing!! I forgot my iPhone 6s Plus in my pocket while I was in the jacuzzi for about 10 minutes. When I took it out of my pocket the screen was blank and the camera flash was on until it died. Now when I plug in the charger all that happens is the flash turns on very dim nothing else comes on. I don't think anyone here in Toronto can fix this. Have you heard of this before could it possibly be an easy fix?

i tried to remove my chip but i still have no luck... i tried heating up the chip to 400c for about 30-40 seconds every several times and the chip is not even moving..i also have a corner piece of the chip that has broken off while using my tweezers.. what should i do to take it off easily without creating any further damage? thnx in advance.
