Even so the XR or the 11 is kinda a better purchase then the SE 2020-2022, the 11 is 400 dollars in the official apple store and find some really cheap ones on the used market

Got an iPhone 7 and it's treated me very well. I'm upgrading though to the 13 pro max . Big Jump. Really upgrading because I think it'll help me as a creator. I can't wait to see how it aids me. The camera alone has me so impatient and it's the Alpine! The 7 has battery issues but I've had it since 2019 ! It's great for biking and being a sporty girl or guy because it's so compact. The 7 is very slow as well and when you record, it doesn't get a full background which is not fun for trying to set it up for that good angle. I can't wait to review the 13pro max. You are the hardest working man on youtube. I really feel informed after watching your videos.

I just upgraded from a basic iPhone 6 to the iPhone 11 and watching these videos made me realize just how much of a non-factor anything below the 6S is at this point Lol. I would say the 6S may still hold value for anyone who wants an iPhone with an old-school headphone jack. I also never knew before this vid that the iPhone 7's button actually isn't pressable though. Interesting.

Your main argument for choosing the 7 over the 6s is not valid because both only got IOS 15.

Hahah the iPhone 7 will be “supported for several more years” ohh really? It’s insane to me people use the same phone for 5-6 years and at 3-4 years it’s slow AF. If you trade in at the right time you can get a brand new phone you just have to pay 2 years of monthly charges which you would do anyways. Rule of thumb for iPhones is upgrade very 3 years. I did it and I have always gotten the newest/peak. Went from iPhone 4S to iPhone 6 to iPhone X (temporarily to an iPhone 11) to iPhone 12 Pro and now the iPhone 15 pro. None of these dinosaur phones would work well with ANY modern apple products. Like I have a MacBook Pro (M1 pro processor), two HomePod 2’s (stereo), Airpod Pro 2’s (one pair for the gym and one for normal use) Apple Watch 7 (getting series 9 this year, every 2 years for watches), and AirTags a plenty. If I had an ancient phone like this it’s old crappy chipset wouldn’t even work with most of my other tech. They run like Bluetooth 4.2 or some garbage, don’t have U1 chips in them, and ya…they have physical buttons. It’s literally a paycheck (1 out of 4 a month) to buy a brand new iPhone 15 pro if I wasn’t trading my 12 pro in. So what’s peoples excuse for not getting an upgrade every 3 years? $1,000 is nothing these days, it can be bought with a credit card worst case scenario…I don’t get it.
